  1. This is the only place that I could say this and be completely comfortable. I am so excited because my BMI has moved from morbidly obese to obese!!! That feels soooooo good!
  2. Congrats! It is exciting to see success. I can't wait to get under 200...I am trying to keep my babysteps going so I don't get discouraged.
  3. Have you had your thyroid checked? This can contribute to some hair loss.
  4. Thanks Nanook. For some reason I thought there was some magical post op support system that I missed out on. I can work with this. I am very familiar with spanx and others, so I am half way there. I appreciate your feedback, it helps me to see that I didn't miss something important. I just need to be a little more diligent in my efforts.
  5. I had my lap band surgery in Nov 2008. I have lost almost 80 lbs so far.
  6. I have been able to eat peanut butter and pineapple. However, I have problems with rice, potatoes and nectarines. I chew my food well, but I have had to pretty much give up these foods.
  7. I had my surgery 8 months ago. I have lost almost 80 lbs so far. I was trying to work on my abs before I had a hysterectomy 3 weeks ago. My abdomen is somewhat swollen from the surgery. My girlfriend had the lap band and mentioned that she had been wearing a girdle or some kind of sling to support her stomach. I must have missed that, because I had not been wearing one. Since my recent surgery, I am finding that I feel like I need abdominal support. Can anyone make any recommendations on what type of support to get and where to get it?
