  1. I am new to this website and my surgery is scheduled for 02/25/2009. Not to sound stupid, but what is pb'ing? Vomiting?
  2. I have my surgery date, February 25, 2009 at UCSD. I am in San Diego. Anyone else from San Diego having surgery at UCSD. I am so ready. Tired of being sick and tired. Tired of carring around 100+ extra pounds. Sound familiar to anyone?
  3. Thanks! Will do! I've been reading some of the complications people have experienced. Scary. Would be interested in knowing how many people end up having the band removed or experience constant vomiting one year out. Will post to the appropriate area. It's even more scary to think of having a heart attack or diabetes due to my weight. Thanks again!
  4. Dr. Santiago Horgan is at UCSD in La Jolla/San Diego.
  5. I am scheduled for February 2009, too. I live in San Diego, CA and cannot wait. Of course, a little nervous, too. However, I KNOW this is the right surgery for me and am excited to begin my healthier life.
  6. I've recently located this website and enjoy reading the posts. After six months of a medicallly supervised weight management program at UCSD, my insurance just approved me for a lap-band. Surgery is scheduled for February 2009 by Dr. Horgan. Would love to hear from others who had their lap band surgery done by Dr. Horgan. :tongue2:
