  1. I had my surgery Jan 25th. I have lost about 20 lbs. but find that one day I am 4 lbs down and 2 days later up. for the last week or so I don't think I have lost anything. I am hungry now, but am trying to stay within my calories. I don't get my first fill until March 18th. I wonder why, where everyone else seems to get them early. Texas girl
  2. I was banded on jan 25th. I have lost 18 lbs. I have not had any trouble with food except steak. My Dr. doesn't fill for 2 months after banding. I am scheduled for March 18th. I am glad to hear the fill doesn't hurt. I was worried about that. I am beginning to get hungry, but am trying to keep my calories down to 1100. Do you feel bad or sick after you get a fill?
  3. That is amazing. I was banded Jan25th. I now have lost 12 lbs. I am not scheduled for a fill until March 18th. Everything I have been reading on this website shows most people getting banded very quickly after surgery. My Dr. is conservative, and does not band for two months. I am doing ok. I eat everything, and have never had to throw up. I try to stay at 1100 calories. The only exercise I do is walk. He said I could ride a bicycle also. I am excited about this, but I am afraid of losing and gaining. I have been a yoyo dieter forever. I would like to have you as a mentor. Sbausone in Texas
  4. OK fellow January bandsters. I was banded on Jan 25th, I went for post op last wed. and had lost 11 lbs. My scale said only 8 lbs. This whole week I have not lost anything. I have stuck to the 1100 to 1200 calorie diet. I do not get a fill until Mar. 18th. :cursing::confused:
  5. Well I am now 3 weeks post op. I went to the Dr. at 2 wks. and had lost 11lbs. I do not go back until March 20th. I guess that is when you get the first fill. I have not had trouble eatting anything. The secret is chewing. I wonder how much wt. will be lost this month.
  6. I just had my lapband done on Jan. 20th. I am in the eatting all foods now since friday. I have had no problem at all other than the liquid part, where I did get weak and hungry. I go for my first post visit tomorrow. I have lost 7 lbs. as of now. I really am not sure how to do this site, but it seems like it would be very helpful to me. Susan in Texas
