  2. I have had this lingering cold for the last two weeks! Wondering if it will stop my surgery from happening tomorrow ? I'm scheduled for 12/18 band removal to gastric bypass .....
  3. So my surgery date is finally almost here!!!! I have one problem! I have a terrible cold for the last two weeks! I have been hacking up a lung and my nose is all stuffed up! Will they postpone my surgery because of this? My lips also broke out in three different spots with cold sores/ fever blisters. I have been out of work for the last three days because my boss thought I should stay home and get better there instead of taking the chances of getting others sick. In a pickle! Waiting to see what time they scheduled me for tomorrow because that is the only thing they didn't tell me! Nervous for sure but definitely going to go through this!!! Hopefully I will see you all on the other side tomorrow . Band removal then gastric bypass......

  12. Thanks for being so honest! Now I'm more afraid but still want to go through with it. Was the hospital a center of excellence for bariatric surgery! Do you think you would be able to go to work in a week?. I have to think of myself for once even though I'm the only one working to support my family. Do you think I'm being selfish for taking the chance of anything bad happening after surgery? I can't bear the weight on my ankles any more just have an incredibly large appetite and sweet tooth
