  1. I had my first 4 days ago. Up to that point, I had ZERO restriction. To my surprise, before they put the saline in they made sure to see what was left in after surgery. I had 5 cc's already in there! They then put 2 more cc's in for my first fill. I finally have restriction, at 7 cc's. Boy, has it been a lesson in how to carefully chew food and eat slowly! Although it is very hard not to be able to eat what I want too, this is what I have been looking forward too--NOT BEING HUNGRY ALL THE TIME. I have already lost 5 lbs since then and looking forward to the the weeks ahead! Now I agree, the band is wonderful:thumbup:
  2. Just joined this site! So excited to find it! I was banded 12 days ago on November 24! Everything has gone very smoothly and I have already lost 17lbs! The liquid diets absolutely sucks but I only have 2 more days before I move to the blended/pureed diet! I am so excited to actually eat something with some consistancy. Does anyone else not seem to have any restriction yet from their band? Is this something that no one has until they have a fill? Good luck to all of you!
  3. I was banded 11 days ago and it was the best decision I have ever made! Sure, the liquid diet sucks but the end result is so much worth it. It goes by a lot quicker than you originally think it will. I only have 3 days left before I get to move to the "blended" diet! I already feel so much better about myself and that is greatest benefit! Good luck with what you choose to do but I would seriously consider it.
