I had my first appt.... with Dr. Groves.......now have to wait 7 months......... can anyone fill me in on what the physical therapist visit is all about that is required? Thanks !!!!

Hello................ this is funny- my name is also Paula... lol I am considering lap band and have my seminar scheduled for Dec 16. I heard I have to see a nutritionist and a Physical Therapist. Anyone know why? I have been reading and also seen where some have to see a psychiatrist... I am very excited.. I hope i get approved. I have a friend who had this done 2 years ago and she is still so excited about this procedure. She is very happy with herself.! thanks
