What there are more of us on here??? I was banded 12/08 and I still have the soreness and bruises to prove it. So I am 27 and live in the park cities. ( I like saying that better than actually saying I live in dallas) SO yeah I actually live on the edge in dallas. I didnt think anyone my age actually got banded till I came here. SO band buddies would be great.

Yeah I rented the dark knight at the satans den (blockbuster) the other night on blu-ray i watched it so many times after my surgery. It was ridiculous. I love batman anyways. So now I am post op and I am on the freakin clr liquids and it suck I cant wait till I can have something with a little texture. Maybe in a about 5-6days i will be able to

I am day 4 post op and I am not really hungry but I think part of that has to do with the amount of water I am drinking. I do hear my stomach growl from time to time but I still dont feel hunger. Does anyone have the hiccups I have had them since the surgery. Not like regular hiccups but just one everyonce in a while I dont know if it is my stomach trying to get use to the band or what.

Well here I am 4 days being banded and I feel almost normal. I still have the soreness from the surgery but, it gets better day to day. I am so sick of broth and these protien shakes. I have lost like 25 lbs already! (that includes the pre-op). Good luck to the rest of the december people!

I lost almost 15 pounds in 6 days and now I am only 3 days away from surgery.. I am nervous and excited. This pre-op is killing me I swear it is. But actually you know what now the hunger isnt so bad and I dont think it is the diet that is killing me but the myocel protien shakes they are having me drink. Damn these things make wendy's frosty's look like water and oh course I love the flavor of play dough with strawberries and vanilla mixed in. Oh well I am just being a whiny baby. Im just really happy

That is a very interesting story. I think I can beat that story but, mine involves freezing temperatures, a rental truck, turning it in that day, a lot of frozen mud, and a chain, dog and half a barn. oh that sounds really more interesting than it is.

no i do it now riding in my friends jeep we just take off the doors and its all good. I dont know about other stated but here in Texas no one cares.

no not on the beach but the strip is right on the beach anyways so its almost the same. I remember going to daytona and my dad doing that when i was younger

Im with drew05 I want to be able to go to Myrtle beach (where i go just about every summer) and ride up and down the strip in the jeep that I hope to buy soon with just a pair of shorts and flip flops with my foot hanging out the door oh yeah I also want to join my local rugby team and fullfill my longterm goal of becoming a police officer.

Im very laid back and I dont really know how I react I just do .. I know I dont let the person know it bothered me I usually just play it cool and move on... That is a really tough question to answer. Being a Big guy most of my life I have become acustom to it and just roll with the punches. I am sure it has led to a lower self esteem but we will see what happens when I get banded. I cant seem to find a girl in Dallas people are very very materialistic. My buddy's of course are good looking attractive guys but have a hard time finding women who will date them for very long because they dont make a lot of money but wait a tic... I am starting to rant in your threat and I dont want to Hi-jack it from you. You know I took a peek at your pic and I personally dont think you have anything to worry about.....

I work for a police department and I do 911/dispatch for a decent sized city. I blame the women I work with because for just about the past 4 yrs I have worked with nothing but, women with very strong personalities and opinions. SO now timid shy people bore me. i dont know for me I was raised kind of old school and very southern but, I just always go out of my way to talk to her and make sure that I make some sort of physical contact its all about the body language. If it is reciprocated then usually you are good to go. I am finally realizing that rejection is not the worst thing in life.

Well I am a guy and as my friends and I say just about any girl is hot as long as she is confident and actually cares about herself. I personally like a strong personality and I blame the women I work with as well as my job. I dont really know what to tell you because I have had the same problem but with women not men...

Just outside of Downtown Dallas tx 14 days till my surgery
