I got my lap band done on nov24th 2008 i have been under the care of a pain management dr due to two herniated disc in my neck which no dr with operate on until i lose weight my lap band dr told me to stop taking my hydrcodone in pill form could this be because they gave me a prescription for liquid vicadian im not hurting my stomach by still taking my hydrocodone in pill form am i i live in pain everyday

Thanks for your input i have been drinking more water and my calfs are getting a lot better maybe i did not have enough water

I had lapband done on nov 24 monday and for some reason my calf muscles are tight and sore like i walked a hundred miles get this be the gas everybody talks about in your system after surgery

Just got lap band today the dr found and removed a hernia but the only problem as of now is trapped gas and a little sore but dr gave liquid vicaden for pain

im getting lap band by dr patel next week they opened a office this year in austin finally he told me it was due to city regulations from city building code

How soon can you resume taking your medications after lapband im on pain meds diabetic medicine and bloodpressure do i have to crush my meds or what?

any lap banders in this area that have used dr patel have any comments

i just joined today here i finally got approved by cigna insurance after getting turned down two years ago by cigna im on the two week pre op diet i will be getting my lap band on nov 24th done by dr patel in austin texas what should i expect after the surgery will i need to take a few days off of work
