Sept 18..Band to Sleeve
Oh girl you are the day before me. We need to keep in touch. How are you feeling?
-
Lapband to Sleeve But I left my band in
I always wondered if you could do that, cause I considered mines remaining. My surgeon said no. I was trying to do everything I could to get this weight off and keep it off. I have my surgery Friday. I am excited and super nervous.

September Sleevers!
Is anyone scheduled for Friday? I would really love to have someone to walk with during this journey. I have struggled through preop diet. I do want this, but I have truly had a hard time with my eating.

September Sleevers!
Praying for you. I know all will be well.

Very soon I will go from Band to Sleeve!
I hope everyone gets approved. It was a long road for me to have this surgery and it will be happening on Friday! I can't believe my time is coming fast. I also think about the different feeling of being full. I was told that we would feel it in our stomach longer and not in our esophagus. I have a friend that's 5 years out. She lost 100, but now gained back 30. She says she can eat whatever she wants, and can be hungry ever 2 hours. She also admits that she doesn't exercise or drink a lot of water. I can't be that girl. So I know what I need to do to maintain. Even if I gain back (a pound or two, not 30), I want to be able to always drink water, keep the carbs low and exercise. We havr to always do the basics for the rest of our lives. We have to tool to help us loose the weight but the commitment to keeping it off is on us. Lord, please help us to stay committed to the process.

Band to Sleeve
You think that's what it is? Have you tried low carb plans? I know if you did a lifestyle program like Atkins or South Beach you would get a great jump start. That was always my go to plan after I was banded. I just had a hard time with a lot of the veggies. But you don't have that problem. I'm looking forward to being able to eat and just get full, not stuck.

Am I the only revision...No Pre-Op Diet
You are so right. Today I have been working in renewing my heart about this. I think I was also doubting my ability to do this, whether I desire this process. I am putting a lot of pressure on myself.

Band to Sleeve
But you should be able to loose. You think your stomach has stretched that much

Wanted: September Sleevers!
So grateful for your post. I haven't heard of people failing at their preop. I know it will get better for my own

I'm trying super hard.

September Sleevers!
Yes it is! I'm trying to stay focused. I know I have it better than some, but I still need to be mindful. I have my preop appointment in the morning. I hope learn a lot.

Am I the only revision...No Pre-Op Diet
Well I was given shakes protein bars and pudding. But I can also have lean meats and veggies. Even with that I have been struggling. It's been super emotional for me. I want to do good, and I am worried about stress eating. I'm overwhelmed a bit.

Wanted: September Sleevers!
Well I think they will be on it, cause all of those things will be in that hospital bill. Lol! I purchased my gas x chewable for my return. I think I will go ahead and purchase my isopure. Cause I am not sure my stomach will be ready for anything milky

Wanted: September Sleevers!
But will they allow you to use gas X while you are in the hospital? I would think they have their own medicine

September Sleevers!
How are yall doing with your diet? It's the hardest thing ever. I don't know what it is that is making this so hard for me, and I can eat protein. But even doing just that has been hard. I have lost 5 pounds. But I'm not proud of my eating.

Going from Band to Sleeve
I need some encouragement. I can't get it together with this preop diet. I want this process, but I think the stress of it all is making me what to eat. I'm nauseous all the time. Today is a better day, cause I had a salad. I have had low car high protein diets before, but I am struggling this time.

September Sleevers!
Sorry to learn that. Wow! I hope you have a speedy recovery.

Going from Band to Sleeve
Wonderful! Please keep me posted.

Date set
I have to do protein mostly, but I can have lean meat and veggies. But they want me to have 4 of their products per day. I'm doing my best to do that. I have still been hungry. I want to include my kale to their shake, cause I don't want to be constipated. I want to be sure to loose weight prior to the surgery, but I don't want to be sick. I'm already starting to feel nauseous. I have to eat something. It's one thing if my stomach wouldn't allow me to eat, but I'm hungry. And with this band it starts to lock up if I don't eat. That's another reason I want this thing out.
