  1. Great job...running my first 5k in 2 weeks!!!
  2. How do you know if a cough is from slippage or regular cough? I over indulged last night at a party, I thought I would be able to control myself, but, did not. I had the acid reflux think afterwards, woke up this morning and know am coughing (wet cough), but, here is the catch I felt cold symptoms earlier in the week and went away. No puking or anything, do feel a little tight in my chest. Happy New Year!!
  3. Thanks for all the help!!!
  4. Now that I am full of energy, I was debating joing a boxing gym or Karate. I am not sure how smart of an idea that would be with the port and band. Anyone out there currently do the above clubs? Happy Holidays!!! Greg

  6. Brad, how many ounces of food can you tolerate ata time now?
  7. I hope this does not come off as being rude, cause I really am not trying to be. I have been reading post like yours and others...Didn't we get this done to us to help change our life styles. I do not want the chips, breads, nachos...etc. I want to be healthy and will stick to the high protein low carb lifestyle. Do any you see a nutrionalist as part of your post op lifestyle?:tongue2:
  8. do you thinkthat is the right diet to follow? Sounds like you are eating hard foods.:tongue2:
  9. will do, how long until you felt better after it was removed? thank you.
  10. I see the doctor on Monday, they said he normally puts some in during surgery. I have seen him post op before and had not had any pain until now.
  11. Thanks for the reply, the 5cc were from surgery. I am afraid to get fill at this point.
  12. I am about 6wks out and had no complications. Food goes down good, no sticking that I can tell of. I have developed bad pain by my right shoulder blade. Thought it was pull muscle, but, days later will not go away. Spok to doctor and said I might be too tight. I have not had a fill yet, I have 5cc in 10cc band (from surgery), have not experienced this pain prior, so I find it hard to believe I am too tight. Thougth it was maybe gas, tried mylanta and Gas X to no help. Is it possible to have a stuck or partial stuck and not realize it? HELP PLEASE!!
  13. Can some one tell me what PBs mean......
  14. Doesn't vomiting cause band slippage? I have been stuck or at least think I am stuck, but, have not vomitted. I have tightness in my chest and back. I feel food and stuff going ariund whatever is stuck. Feels like in the bottom of my throat. Only 6 weeks out of surgery and do not know what to do. Very uncomfortable.
