  1. Hi eveyone! Im In tooo! Im almost a month out and Im ready jump on the bandwagon. I've been out of rotation for a few months and Im ready to get started again. I look forward to talking to everyone :smile2:
  2. Good Morning! I'm estatic too!!! I was banded on Nov 4, so I'm 3 weeks out working on my fourth. I have yet to have my 1st post-op visit and fill with my doctor, that's scheduled for Dec 23. So I've decided to wait till that first visit to get weighed. It's been so tempting to hop on the scale and take a peek. At any rate I got up early this morning to try and piece a outfit together for dinner this evening with my family, and much to my surprise I can fit clothes I havnt worn in years! I certainly didnt expect a change to happen so quickly, I've recieved comments from friends and family about my weight loss but I just didnt see it till this morning. I'm so excited and I cant wait to really really get back to working out to see more results!!:grouphug:
  3. Hi, I too work with law efforcement and I can certainly relate to having a hectic life, missing meals, and eatting junk on the go. So I decided to give it a go myself, I had my surgery only 6 days ago but I feel so proud of myself for begining a new healthly life. I've had no complications thus far only adjustments to eatting smaller portions, much much smaller portions. :-) I say go for it and join us LapBanders!
  4. Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum. I am offically 6 days out, my surgery was on Tues. Nov 4, 2008. These past 6 days have certainly been an adjustment but I know it's only just the begining to a new start. :rolleyes2:
