  1. Hey all, Only 3 days Post op here, so I am having the sounds but no real "hunger pains" as I have heard about so often. The issue I am having is with the gas. I have been using Gas-X strips like they are going out of style. The thing I notice is that I get a weird pain in my left shoulder blade before I belch. I am afraid to force burp for fear of doing damage. O/W doing pretty well on the clears and the slim fast shakes. Keep up the good work everyone.
  2. HI all, hope all of your bands go well, I am day one post op, not too much pain. No appetite, thank the lord for that seeing as how I had to pass a Quiznos and a Wendy's on the way out of the hospital today. I am excited and can't wait to start the process of losing weight, I already have done a bit of loss with the Pre op diet, but I look to keep that up to my goal. Then I look to help my wife as she gets her band early next year. Look forward to talking to you all. Matt
  3. Hey All, My name is Matt and I am getting banded here in the States, self pay thanks to Carecredit. I got tired of trying to jump through the hoops of the insurance companies, and I found a place in Detroit that is banding for less than 11K. My date is scheduled for Dec 7. I am nervous, scared, and excited all at once. My whole world is going to be flipped upside down, but in a good way. My wife is going to have the band done after the new year, we agreed that it would be best if we did it together and work together. Keeps things less complicated at the home especially with the diet and all. Can't wait to hear how you all are doing with your progress. Good luck. Matt
