hey!! thanks so much for the reply! yea i heard the weightloss is slower, but I'm actually fine with that, every other time ive lost wieght really fast ive either packed it back on, or ive gotten really sick from it. so far so good though- ive lost my Water and air weight from surgery, so im back at square 1. I lost 30 before surgery, so in a way, even though I havent lost anything from the actual surgery itself, i still have a sense of accomplishment cause I got myself down 23 myself and then an additional 7 from being on Dr. Boe's liquid diet before I went in that day. hey cindy, I know you from the barix boards lol! great seein ya on here too :thumbup: im doing pretty good, just port pain now. I was finally able to have a shake today and not feel sick off of it **thumbs up** which was awesome, thats gotta mean im healing more- cause Ive never thrown up, but i really felt sick whenever i drank them before. how you been? whats up where you are?

i know what ya mean- granted your 10 days out longer than i am but, is it normal for it to hurt when i sneeze lol? cause i sneezed today and i just sat there holding my stomach cause it hurt sooooooo bad. i took a muscle relaxant earlier cause for some reason my muscles are locking up like crazy around it... i think its cause, well i have fibromyalgia and my body is going haywire over it being there:tounge_smile:

thank you so much for replying to the thread- cause seriously... i dont know what everyone else thought when they felt that, but i was scared i got a hernia from trying to get out of the bed in the hospital... but when i told the nurses how i felt they said it was normal, but still i was scared ya know?

ya know, Ive been wondering that too!I had my surgery on oct. 27th- and I feel it every single time i get up or sit down, bend, turn or anything... and my stomach feels really tight. not where my band would be but around the whole port area. is that normal ? Laura

Hey Everyone- My names Laura, and Im from PA. I just had surgery on 10/27/08 at Barix Clinics in Langhorne, and my surgeon was Dr. Boe.
