Hey.. i was banded on nov. 4th and the first 10 days were horrible for me but now im feeling great. im eating soft protein and veggies. how r u doing?

Hello everyone my name is Olinka and I will be banded in just 2 days! On Tuesday the 4th. I am very excited and yet terrified. I keep wondering, what if something goes wrong? But NO i am gonna think positive! so any advice before the surgery?:rolleyes2:

Hey, good luck in your serg. I as banded on Tuesday the 4th and OMG honestly the first four days are just horrible and in pain, at least for me. today is my 6th day and i feel better but im full of gas. take gasx A LOT of it. WALK WALK WALK it helps alot....... and rest and sleep cause you will need it. but in the end it will be ok. Just a bit painful! but worth it..

Thats great for you! CONGRATS.. I had mine 3 days ago and even though is PAINFUL im sure it will be worth it

Thank you! its been tough, im just glad is normal my legs feel as if i ran 30 miles, i dont kow why.... and my stomach, ouch!!! but im pulling through..:biggrin:

Thank you.. im out:sad_smile: of surgery, honestly in a ot of discomfort and a god amount of pain, i hope is normal.

I'm gonna be banded tomorrow so i cant give much advice but i would say you did the right thing by contacting the DR. I'm sure is like gas or maybe something is extra sensitive but you should def. check and make sure. I hope the DR gets back to you soon!

Hello everyone! I will be banded tomorrow!! im ready ready ready!!!! but nervous nervous.. jajajaja Anyway I saw that one of you had some questions about the lap band. Yeah you do have to undergo a liquid diet for two weeks, It varies with doctors mine allows me to eat once a day and has to be Protein and greens. everything else, liquid. The surgery cost, at least mine is 15,000. well wish me luck for tomorrow!:thumbup::smile2:

Hey Diana I will be banded this tuesday, so in two days. I have done the preop diet which i can honestly say is HARD but in the end worth it. They will make all sorts of test on you like blood, ekg, what not. You will meet with the dietician to go over the rules and what to and not to eat. Its really not that hard it just takes time. After surgery people keep telling me to walk walk walk and get my rest. So i will let you know on Tuesday how i feel and how bad the pain is. Hello! Im Olinka and I will be banded on Tuesday so in 2 days. I'm gonna be honest with you the diet is hard but it worth it. The first week is the worst cause you're very hungry and wanna smack someone:scared2::cool2: But then it gets better, I am very anscious but also very ready!:biggrin::smile2:

thank you.. you are right a new begining im thrilled. so i will definitelty post ad let you guys know. wow the 7th thats friday! we'll be banded the same week. and mini me the 18th almost there. how are your pre op diets going are you guys hungry. Hey guys! i am going to be banded in November 4, so in two days... I am super nervous and yet excited. So that ways I can give you guys heads up what to expect. Right now I must confess Im pretty hungry because of the strict diet but I just keep thinking is worth it. 2 DAYS AND COUNTING!:rolleyes2::wink2:
