  1. I had my operation 15 months ago and have lost 115 pounds. My band is slipped and I am having this fixed on Dec 10th. What could cause this? How dangerous is it. I am having trouble getting Medicare to cover it. Any comments? I am in Richmond Va. and it will be done at St. Mary's hospital. Thanks in advance for any input. Bill (pigpurple)

  3. I had my operation on 9/22/06 and have lost 102 pounds and I am still losing. However the last few weeks almost everything I eat causes me to feel like something is blocked OR there is a burning feeling in my regular stomach. Even liguids give me a problem. My last fill they said I had enlarged my new stomach and I went on liquids for a week. I have gotten a little worse since then. Does anybody have any thoughts on my problem? Bill:help:

Our research turned us on to Dr. Gregory Schroder. He has done many procedures, is listed as one of the best doctors in Richmond and his surgical group are certified lapband specialist. Surgery for me is on Sept. 21, 2006 and I have been very pleased with the education and support this surgical group has given us. His phone # is 285-4133 and his office is at St. Mary's Hospital. Good luck.
  11. Thanks for the feedback
  12. I am having my operation on the 21st of Sept. I have post nasal drip at night. Could that cause a problem? Should I tell my Dr. before the operation? Bill
  13. I may be on the wrong page to ask the questions I asked. Should I switch? Da Pig
  14. Hi Everyone; I am now at 345 and yesterday I turned 66. I am 6 Ft. so as you can tell, I'm a wopper. I am really looking forward to this operation but have a few questions. How do pills go down? (I take 17 per day) I have type 11 diabetes so is low blood sugar a problem? How much will I be able to eat per meal? I have been told 4oz, which sounds fine. I have post nasal drip (gross) but it goes in the ole tummy. Can this cause a problem? I hope to hear from some of you. Good luck in your progress. Da Pig
