Hey NIcole I am just bored and tired of being home today. Trying to check in between court reports......... I have been working from home for almost four days now. I am bored!! If I am on the computer I am not in the kitchen!! LOL. The eye drops make me sleepy and I used alot before I came into the building to make the red go down so I could survive a couple of hours!! LOL. I thought Robin would have a fit if I drifted off.........as it was I was doodling to stay awake and she noticed!! LOL. I was like whatever I can't do this today............Dr Baggs said I should go home and keep taking the meds until they were gone. So I can blame him for me leaving early!!

Chris you answered my question the band does go above 7cc's!! I thought so....... Nicole your above 7cc's too right. Ok so we are all on the same day again. cool. I feel like I missed out today but nice to get home before noon. I want to be down 12 pounds by the 20th. 199.anything would make me happy!!! except for a couple of wheat thins it has been crystal light all day........not hungry but I bet I will be tomorrow!! YOu girls all looked so GREAT today!!! Really good!! Is that cigar guy Gorden?? I could tell he has lost weight too..........

I debated on the size but wear a 9 and went with a 9. I think they are a wee bit big but I think one lower would be to small..........I like them alot!!!

I found them online. Sold out everywhere. Sorta expensive though............ I finally got them through Victoria secret they were the only ones who had my size..........I mean serious Macy's, NOrdstroms............everyone was sold out. Bath and Body has the basic ones. But I wanted black ones' I got the Electra Fitflop it is black with sequins so I can wear it to work but they are big and bulky but OMG so work the butt.........I am sore. I wear them 24/7 I LOVE them. WHen it goes cold I will probably switch to the MJ's

Mine sorta faded out over a month..........it looked bad but I was home from work for a month so I didn't care. I was in PJ's anyway and slept my way through that month so no worries.........one day it was just gone.

Ok so I changed my ticker and made my first goal 30BMI and if that is my goal I am halfway there. I was 179 way back when and a size 12. I don't know if I like this goal for a final goal but I am gonna go with this first and if I get to 180 and don't feel comfortable will just keep setting my goal ten pounds lighter at a time until I get to a weight that feels right for me.........alot higher than i think I want but who knows...........it might work!! It is a starting point!! Went to old navy today and the XXL was to big. I had to get the XL and I can't belive it fit!! It has been years since anything in Old Navy worked.........I have hope in a couple of months that my daughter and I might be able to shop in the same stores and I won't get so bored following her around..........NSV!! Ok I didn't buy anything but excited it fit anyway..........

I think after the first year you don't go in as much!! I like going in once a month forces me to be on top of stuff. I also like the support system I get with Richmond Bariatrics.......ya know always Robin, Liz and Dr. Baggs and now the nurse who I really like too......... So Nicole you had a great appointment!! What did Dr. Baggs say?? I told you he would be happy with your weight lose. Girl tell me if you can still eat bread!! LOL. With a 1cc and over 7cc's you should be banned from bread now!!! NO fair you can still eat it........ Dr. Baggs told me to aim for 25-30 BMI as a goal weight. So I need to do the math. 150 is 25 but it sounds like that is the low end I could be higher and still healthy.........

My first fill was 2cc and I got the gas pain again full force and I felt like I did the day after surgery........but it was gone in 48 hours. But yep I had the exact same thing...........I thought I was the only one. Second and third fill have been .5 and no problems.........that 2ccs was intense but glad I did it!!

Not the way it went for me...............It took four months to get through the program for me and that was just bariatric appointments!! I think so california might have to do the six months of classes though. Unless.................Kaiser changed the program. I haven't heard that though

43 is 18 more than I have been able to lose before!! Yea I hear ya with the keeping it off. That is what the monthly meetings and weigh ins does for me keeps me accountable!! I always know I won't get a fill if I don't work the program and theat weigh in keeps me moving!! LOL. Jes I am excited for you. I was so excited when I got my case manager appointment!! 2/9/09 I still remember I took the day off (called in sick) just to make it!! So excited when I drove home and knew it was gonna really happen!! Your gonna be a high for a few days!! Oh girls I got fitflops which I have been wearing non stop for a week. Love them. A bit nerdy but my butts and upper legs are so sore..........it is working. First day I woke up and couldn't figure it all out than it was like..........the shoes!! Between the MJs and the flipflops I am set!!

NO one said anything about seeing Robin alone so I guess it is a group thing..........Yea I don't know but I might try to see a movie or something ont he way home. Three times were at the mall. Once when we got there. Once when we ate and one before we left...........LOL.One leaving PInole and had to stop once since I drank alot of water. My daughter was counting and gettin upset with me so I know it was excessive (according to her anyway)

Riley I think it might be a group fill. Hmmm...........well I am not totally sure of that. I know this will be my 4th fill and maybe you only do group the first three. I thought I was suppose to wait 6-8 weeks for the next fill. I will email Dr. Baggs I need to ask him a couple of questions anyway....... I have been peeing way to much too!! 6 times on the way home today!!! I am wiped out today going to bed early. Trying to catch up on paperwork. Than I get an email from my supervisor saying they are laying someone else off so I have to deal with her caseload when I get back on Monday!! AHH.......but at least not laid off. But not even possible to get it all done like they are asking. I am jury duty the first week of August and than off on vacation for a week in August!! AHH...........I could strangle my supervisor for not thinking things through better........I had to remind her I will be gone half of AUgust.......totally ditz, nice woman but totally air head. SHe is the same one who messed up my disability payments............she has no clue to to manage and supervise.........pissing me off cause everything is funny to her right now!! (as she said you still have a job why are YOU upset??) so for state and county workers I think there is gonna be stress and alot of crap for those of use left behind..........ok, seriously need to just ignore work right now!!

YEa I forgot and ate a couple of the forbidden wheat thins............Michaela told him that if I eat bread I PB and that even when she told me at Panera not to "taste it" I did and PB'ed in the parking lot...........I just said that is all very true and he laughed. I also told him this girl will tell you everything and this will be her last visit.......he laughed. SHe starts school in three weeks so she can't come anymore. She loves having fun on the way home so she will miss coming........... Nicole that sucks about the job. I sorta thought something weird was up cause it was taking to long. I applied for a job in November and it took them until January to get back to me.........than the same thing sorry no money the position is frozen. I am on the waiting list but it is July and they laid off all that whole department last week.........I am not waiting around to hear anything now!! So how did everyone elses fill go? Anyone going back next month or just me. I am guessing I have around 6cc's now but I plan to email Dr. Baggs I forgot to ask last time too........ How did the group with Robin go today??

Making soup I think I am gonna need it for a couple of days until I get used to this fill........... Extremely hungry girl+wheat thins=bad girl!! LOL Only thing in my car next time I am bringing some crystal light with me. I almost cancelled yesterday but Kelly told me to come so I wan't very prepared today. Otherwise I wouldn't come back until August and that is to long to wait for a fill. Glad I came and got it over with...........LOL!!

Hey Ladies I didn't get to visit much today!! I was trying to get in and out since I didn't want to pass on my germs if I still have them. I don't think Robin was thrilled that I took off early but I was just not feeling it today. It has been a long week and I need to catch up on paperwork tonight for work. I got .5cc. I lost 5 so I didn't get that extra pound I had going on at home. But still fine with that. Blood pressure was fine today but on my meds still.......... Yea I like the nurse and Dr. Baggs. He was telling me to keep using the medicine for my eye even after it looks better or else it will come back!! LOL. I already learned that last week. He said to keep using it until next week. He said as long as your haven't had the flu you can get a fill!! HE said if you have the flu reschedule your fill!! I get more help from him than my PCP........... Fill was totally easy. Found the port on the first try this time and it was quick and easy. He was asking my daughter to spill the beans if I was snacking or not but I haven't been I have been to full the last two weeks, weird I know...........but he was asking her to answer not me!! LOL. I go back on the 20th at 1:30pm. Not my favorite time to go but it is only one day..............I will probably work 1/2 day than head over so it is all good.........less work missed. anyone else? I am surprized I am going back though. I thought the next one was September. But ok............ I ate a two wheat thins on the way home and I have alot more restriction already.........lets see in a week. Seems like a big difference right now. I want 1cc but ok maybe .5 is gonna work............. Missed talking and hanging out today. I was just not in me I wanted to come back home and chill for another day to make sure I really am germ free..............

tomorrow ladies but no looking forward to getting up early and the ride over..............gonna try to take off right after the fill I need to get back to Sacramento and work if possible tomorrow!!

yea Riley scary times. Not good news at all for us either. We were warned if the State did this that things were gonna get really bad...........more layoffs in September and probably December.............I think the county is getting ready to start the layoffs ASAP though.......................I am stressing but trying to get plan B together. Heather I also have the 9/80 schedule and love it. But 4/10's would be great since I work alot of 10's anyway. We hear that they are gonna take the 9/80's away though with all the layoffs we are getting to short staffed to have people out on Fridays and Mondays. see everyone tomorrow since I am no longer contagious I passed my 48 hours. But I think I will probably head home early tomorrow after my fill and not wait around............I need to catch up from missing work on Tuesday. I did work from home today and ended up putting in way more than my 9 hours........how does that work?? Quiet at home and time flies. GOt more done than at the office though........

The first week was hard but give it some time you will be loving your band..............The first week is a killer for many reasons but it gets better and better and better~~ No regrets

I was banded on 4/13/09 and I had alot of questions too. At 12 weeks out I can tell you works out......I have had to PB (not the same at throw up) once at a resterant due to eating bread but it was no big deal.......I just got up and was back in five minutes. I eat slow which I did before the band anyway so no one thought anything of it...........seriously I didn't tell anyone at work and they have no idea and I go out to eat with them all the time...........you figure out it. BUt yea knowing where the bathroom is at a resterant is a good idea............only had it happen once though. You learn when to stop and what NOT to eat............ Congrats on your surgery best decision I have made...........

welcome back Riley. Wish you were coming tomorrow. So sounds like the state has a budget but they are borrowing from the counties which means more layoffs in Sacramento in September. Arrghhh..................working from home today and I still mange to get the bad new!! LOL. Ok so back on Water today all day. Haven't been to hungry the last few days so that has been nice. Figuring out what my lightest clothes are for tomorrow!! I like my jean capris but not for tomorrow.............and ladies I am getting coffee on the way over there!! LOL. My tradition...........no food after about 6pm tonight but coffee in the morning for sure............LOL

Candra you have gone down alot. I am looking at your total weight lose...........OMG you have lost alot already. Ok so you weight less than me by 5 pounds aleady!! No fair cause at 10 pounds down I will be 200.....ok so I need to lose 11 actually that is my next goal!! than 199 yea!! The smallest I have been was in grad school in 2002 at 179!! I remember because I got stuck at 179 .............I was so stressed out with grad school and working full time I couldn't eat. Once I graduate and got a job I gained it all back and another 50 in about 2 1/2 years time.................arrghh.......... I think I need to exercise more cause my eating is good right now..............
