Welcome to the site, there is some really good supportive people here, i have found. Just by reading some of the post i get motivated to work out, eat healthy, and stay on track. This place is Awesome!

Im very active. I have a 2.5 year old son and a great dane puppy. so i get my workout daily. But i walk on the treadmile for 45 min. on level 6 at the highest incline it will go. Then since i had a c-section my muscle in my abs were cut i can do 200 crunches and feel nothing untill the next day. So i do that daily. I also have a bootcamp abs video i do everynight! I also play softball on Mondays & Tuesdays and go horse back riding on Saturdays.

I have never heard of this before... I didn't stop nor cut back and my band and weight loss is just fine. I am going to do that search though and see, my skin is tighten up just fine cause i work out everyday! Weird... im going to ask my Doc.

i was banned on 10/24 and have weighted the same now for a week but i get my first fill tomorrow and hopefully will start losing again! Good Luck!

Mine is on my upper abbs ... crazy i though it would be lower

Everybody's body is different if your loosing at all your not a faliure. Just focus on your weight loss and use others as motivation... Good Luck!

Its going to be hard for me too this is my first thanksgiving being banned but im on solids and don't get a fill till the 3rd so i just have to not eat so much... the bad thing is i have 4 houses to go to and they all except you to eat something...

I have the same pain, on my left side right by my rips, my doctor said it was trapped gas also but the gas-x strips don't work for me so i guess ill have to try something different...

I was banned on the 24th of october and my doctor had me on a staight liquids for a week then to thicker liquids the second week, then mushy foods the third then solids the fourth... my body hates it!

i was banned on friday 10/24 and returned to work today and i have a deskjob ... it all depends on the person and how your surgery goes. good luck

i was banded on a friday 10/24 ... i took off friday, saturday, sunday, monday and was well enough to go back to work on tuesday but had enough vacation time i decided to stay home on tuesday. came back to work late on wed. but i also sit behind a computer majority of my time here at work... it all depends on how your surgery goes, mine went well with no complications :-)

Howdy, Im new to this but im sure ill have questions along the way. I got my surgery done on friday 10/24 and finally up and moving around with just a little pain. My doctor put me on liquids for 2 weeks after the surgery and im about tired of chicken broth and hate beef broth. but since i started the 2 week pre-opt diet i have lost 13 pounds. Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself, now i have to go update my profile and read all these threads on here to help me. Sherry
