  1. I felt the same way and still do - banded end of October. I heard rumors about food getting stuck and was scared that would happen to me. Thus far, it hasn't. I haven't eaten any beef like steak, but everything I do eat I chew and chew and chew. It makes my meal last long and so far it's working.

Me too. I haven't had a fill yet - my surgery was late October. I feel as if I hadn't had the surgery. My dr's appt is Friday. I don't know what to expect - does it hurt, will I be sick afterwards?
  3. Wow - it's great to know I'm know alone out here. I had my surgery Tuesday this week and never knew I had a hernia until after surgery. The dr repaired it at the same time. My concern is it is now Saturday and I'm still on strong pain meds. I don't know if it's the hernia, the lapband, or both. Does anyone have input on how long this pain with occur?
