Just an update..I had all mt fluid removed/unfilled on 12/11/09..I went to have 1cc removed because i was still so uncomfortable..I was throwing up so bad that I had to go back that afternoon and have all of it removed-6cc total. I went back on 12/28..they put 4cc back in. I fell much better, but the holidays were very tough. I gained 9lbs..ughh..But I am back on track and I am so greatful for all the input you have given me.. TTFN

I decided this year to not make any outlandish promises to myself or my family.. I am just going to continue on my path to a healthier me...No need for a resolution, just keep looking forward.. Although, I do need to tone-up, LOL!!!! Happy New Year to All of you!!

I was wearing a 24/26 last year this time..Now I am a size 16..I still need a 1x top..I am top heavy too... Good work all of you!!!

WOW, I certainly don't want to go backwards. I didn't even think about slider food...I had been just drinking shakes... I feel soooo much better. I have been "moving" regularly...I Have been chewing a lot more and using my mini-chopper all the time. I so appreciate all the feedback, it keeps me focused on my goal....

I went to the dr. on Wed. the nurse suggested my bad was too tight and she wanted to remove 1/2 cc.. I said no!! I am having trouble "going", when I finally do, I will feel much better. So I had to come home and preform a few "procedures" to get moving again. I feel fine, now.. I was having a lot of trouble keeping food down and felt very nauseous.. now I feel fine and am drinking plenty of fluids and eating a lot of fiber..I had this problem prior to being banded..it was very painful this time and my usual tricks didn't work. very tough.. has anyone else been asked to have saline removed??? thanks so much

HE HE HE, hubby and I have never been "dull" in the bedroom..but with my weight loss and energy spike there have been some exciting new angles we are able to reach, LOL!!! He is definitely enjoying the new and improved me...I can't complain either..13 yrs later and we are still 2 kids getting to know one another HE HE HE :thumbup: I guess that would be my NSV!!!

Do I smell?? Is that one no one has replied?? I will shower and try again, lol!!

I am right there with no restriction!! 1st-.5cc 2nd-1cc my band is the small one, 10cc, and at time of surgery I had 2cc put in!! so I am so not at my sweet spot...

Well, I have been very neglectful to you all sorry.. having 2 kids in 2 different schools is very interesting. I have plateaued with my weight!! I am very frustrated..I had .o5 cc put in in October, we were flying out 2 days later for vacation, so they opted to give me a slight fill. When we got back they gave me 1 cc and I felt restriction for the first 48 hrs. I am able to eat anything..and I have been.. I keep telling them I AM STARVING!!! I don't feel full ever. I sometimes feel pressure and I stop. So, I was wondering is anyone else having these issues?? I feel very annoyed with the dr. office for not taking me seriously... I want to feel full.. I overate so much the other night it took 45min. to get the last bite un-stuck!! My husband had to come in the bathroom and remove my bra so I could breathe and move my food. My bra hits my bad sometimes-I know I shouldn't complain, but my boobs are still a 44DDD..they get in the way a lot and to keep them "up" where they should be I need to wear a good supportive bra, also have 3 kids will do that to you, lol- can anyone tell me the actual size for the opening of the band/stoma?? Is it like a big Sharpie Pen or a few pencils, just for frame of reference. I am a very visual person, so this will put his in better perpective for me.... Thank you guys so much.. I really miss getting all your input.. I really need it now!! I have been doing at least 1 support group a wekk, I try to get to 2 /week. tty all soon..

I have my 1st fill on 9/22..I can't wait..I need to feel full again... I am sorry you had such an interesting needle incident. I would have fainted and thrown-up.. I am a big chicken with needles... keep up the good work..

MissK, I asked the same thing under another post the other day.. I am so confused.. 2 shakes a day and 1 meal.. I am STARVING!! my hunger came back with a vengance last week, lol... I love your dancing/aerobic kitty, LOL!!! I can't wait to hear more responses....

Ok, I am Christine. I live in upstate NY. I am married to my sole mate. I have 3 sons, 20,4 &3 yrs old,yes 20yr old! I was very young. I started this journey in Jan.09. I was 299lbs @ 5'10" . I started gaining slowly over the last 8-9 yrs. then I quit smoking and had 2 children back to back. I am very happy with my results so far and I have a very supportive husband, Thank goodness. My family is another story, LOL.. I am doing this for me. I need to be healthy and here to see my children and grandchildren grow-up. My family is my world...

OK I am gonna ask a question within this one..are you all doing protein shakes for 2 meals and then a "meal" of mushies? I was just put on mushies this week (banded 8/19). my dr. is very cautious.. so he does 2-3 weeks of shakes then start mushies. I was curious because i am not getting filled until 8/22 and i have gained 3 lbs since tues, when he put me on mushies....Ugh

I was banded 8/19 and am down 18.5 lbs.. I was put on mushies yesterday and I am very concerned about gaining any weight.. I have become obsessed with weighing myself too..I am trying to not get on it everyday, lol...I feel great!!!! I am in clothes that I haven't had on in 4 yrs!!!
