  1. Alex Brecher started following Yoda
  2. Hi...just a quickie to say that Mr Yoda and I reallllly enjoyed meeting y'all! We enjoyed putting faces to names. It was a lot of fun and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Is TLBC THE BEST or what???!!!!!! Have a wonderful and safe holiday season, everyone!!! (Loriely...specialist appt? Hope all is okay). )
  3. Mr Yoda & I will be there!! WOOOT WOOOT!
  4. :update: Just a quick note to pass on that us Yodas are doin' great and are alive and well!! Life is busy and we've been taking a hiatus of sorts from the site....too many other things goin' on. I periodically come and do a quick read ...glad to see u r all doin' so well! Keep it up! My band is a good friend and it is also quickly becoming a good friend to Mr Yoda (his band, not mine! LOL). He is doing very well indeed since his second fill (he is now at 5ccs....he has wisely chosen to reach his optimum level slowly - me thinks he learned from my journey!). He is down 30 lbs and we're both really noticing it (in more ways than one!! *snicker*) :rolleyes:whoo: All the best, I wish you!
  5. Actually, there are a few places that do not accept American money (Cuba is one example).
  6. <wrong Thread!!! lol ignore my edited post!
  7. ....we can never win, eh? This is also causing our interest rates to rise up!!! :phanvan
  8. well, NO tanning salon is "safe" band or no band. (except for spray on tan) People KNOW this yet they continue to do it. Personally, I never have and never will.
  9. If you want clarity, call the clinic Mon morning. But yeah, I've always eaten a "good" meal before my fill.....it is the after that is the tricky part...(fluids for the rest of the day). Don't forget that your fill won't be at 1:30. The seminar starts at 1:30....it is supposed to be two hours long (?...so they say!) and THEN they give you the fills. So you likely won't get your fill until after 3:00 (from my understanding). We'll see you there!! Looking forward to meeting you.
  10. TLBC has always told me to make sure I have a good meal before the fill. So, if your fill is in the afternoon...make sure you have a good lunch. If it is in the morning, a good breakfast. Mr Yoda and I are going to a rest. in TO for lunch tomorrow prior to going to TLBC.
  11. That is kewl that you enjoyed your visit to Canada...and yes, there is a lot more to offer!! psssst: but take it from someone who has lived from coast to coast to coast of Canada (& all points inbetween)....you have been to the most beautiful province and two of the most beautiful places within that province! :kiss
  12. This is why it is sooooo very important to ensure you have aftercare all researched and lined up before getting surgery. This is a big thing for out of Canada patients (ie. Mexico) but obviously for in Canada patients, as well. IMHO, though it is nice if the clinics help out in finding a fill person, I feel the onus is on the individual and it is their responsibility.
  13. Hmmmmm...I find that viewpoint interesting because TLBC staff (incl the doc) do call and talk to their patients. And they have their own support network on their website AND they have video and teleconferencing for support.
  14. LOL Doddie!!!! You know me better than that!!! I was referring specifically to lizrbit....not you my dear!
  15. Welcome back Miranda and welcome to bandland!!! Thanks for the update. So happy all went well for you!!!! You are on your way!!!:clap2:
  16. la la la la la....sure is nice up here on the high road.
