  1. I'd also like to add a comment based on a few things I've read in this thread. I personally don't think anything is wrong with "recreational sex". If someone feels it isn't "right" for them...than great....so be it. But others may feel quite differently and it doesn't make them any less of a "good" person. I recall my younger, more carefree (non-married) days with great pleasure; lots of good memories in that area. Nothing wrong with it. So, yes, I can see that for single people today there may be frequent occasions where sex may be had with someone that you aren't planning on sharing "everything" with.... And...besides...if it is good for the goose..... .....so for those of you singles out there...hey....don't let the scars stop you from having fun and...heck no...ya don't have to "splain everythin'".....!!!
  2. Fotune cookie????? Did I hear someone mention fortune cookie? ummmm...Mmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmm....Jack...did you have chicken balls with that fortune Cookies...????!!! Huh? Huh? Didja? Didja? Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm what I would give for a chicken ball covered in sauce right now!!!!!
  3. Way to go Jude!!!!! :clap2: :clap2: I know, patience is sure key, eh? I'm learning that but sure easier said than done sometimes!
  4. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Ami. God he is sooooooooooooo FREAKIN' HOT he should be outlawed!!!! *grinz* I'm gonna daydream about him all day at work now!! LOL
  5. When you have the next fill make sure that they take out what you have in there so they can see what IS in there. I went 6 weeks thinking that I had 7 ccs in my midband (the docs thought this too) when in actuality I only had 2!!!! No wonder I could eat!!!! That is because my first fill of 5ccs never actually went "in" but they didn't pick up on that..... So just be sure they check it out to be on the safe side (ie. if they don't do it anyways),.
  6. That is amazing and so motivational and inspirational...tks for sharing!!! :clap2: :clap2:

...and SO YOU SHOULD!!!!!! We're all so very proud of you!!! Way to hang in there..and talk about giving yourself a margin!!! YEEAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH Onederland here ya come!!!!!! :clap2: :clap2:
  8. Neither left or right for me. Mine is exactly in the middle...just under my bra line (like Wheetsin's). About 4" below my bra line. I love it there.
  9. I agree exactly with Paul. My point was better explained in his and subsequent posts. My comments still stand. And, I'm glad others mentioned that Jen IS a good mom and IS doing the right things...she IS and HAS been teaching good habits to her daughter.... that is what I found offensive about your post BPM...that you insinuated otherwise. 'nuff said.
  10. Yea Mandi, it will be a lot easier once you have your own place and your own kitchen/fridge etc. You won't have to eat out as much. I haven't had a burger even since beginning of April. I doooo miss my McD.'s fries though!!!! I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to go there (or Wendy's again) but really not sure I want to!!! HANG TIGHT!!
  11. Get it...hey Jude!!!! *humming the Beatles song*. I thought I would start ya a new thread to give you some encouragement! YOU can do this! Don't worry...it WILL happen...it just takes longer to get going for some people. I was stuck for awhile too...and like Argon, I'm losing a pound here and a pound there (over several weeks!). So, don't lose hope. Just keep on doing what you're supposed to and it WILL pay off. Patience my friend!
  12. Both my DH and I have sleep apnea and use CPAP. We are like two Darth Vaders side by side when we go to bed. We looooooooooooooooooove our CPAPS....and the results. It's really nothing to worry about. Yes, it will take some getting used to but once you do, you will LOVE the sleep you get and wonder how you did it before without it. First of all, 15 times an hour is nothing.....we are both well up over 125 times and hour. Second of all, my surgeon didn't need to know my # before surgery (he didn't even ask me). The only thing I had to do was bring my CPAP with me because he wanted me to stay overnight because of the apnea. I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt you will be refused surgery based on this. That is ridiculous and I'm not sure why you were told that. I, too, hope that I will no longer have it once I lose weight but really it is no biggie. I am not saying apnea is no biggie....I'm saying that using a CPAP is no biggie!!! We're (& you) are just lucky that we know we have it and can do something about it. There is a VERY high %age of people out there (fat and thin) who have it and don't know it and likely will never be tested for it.
  13. Oh, c'mon BPM..... I hear what you are saying but she is FIVE !!!!!!
  14. It all varies. My husband take meridia and in 4 mos on it he has lost 23 pounds. Of course he is also eating more healthy and he started to exercise a bit so that has an influence. but he says the meridia has really helped him. And he does feel "fuller" and eats less.
  15. Hmmmmm...interesting... My port is actually exactly where your top scar is, Argon!!! Tks for sharing though!!! You will have to tame that wild boobie though!! LOL
  16. That is why they hired a couple of nurses at the clinic I go to to do fills. But, most definitely make it known that you are dis-satisfied...they won't change anything if they don't get the feedback. I can understand your anger/frustration!
  17. Halobabe: tell your daugther that all the models out there now (emphasize the "healthy" ones) were tall as kids and one day she may be fortunate enough to be a tall women that people will admire!
  18. I completely agree with what GiveyoutheMoon just said. Completely. I think "we" (women) make a bigger deal out of it than we need to. Yes, I've been married for 5 yrs now but I, too had a past. In that past, I was a single woman who had a breast reduction....so I had scars in some very intimate places. Really....in my experience of intimacy (aka SEX!) guys don't care. You're NAKED!!!!! They don't care!!!! (ie. you are NAKED!!!). Really....ask any guy...a few lil' scars will not phase them. And as GiveyoutheMoon said...no reason to go into a major explanation. Guys? Care to comment here? I also have some VERY nasty scars form a severe ankle break and emerg surgery I had a few yrs ago on my ankle. Granted, the ankle isn't an intimate piece of the body...but it's still a scar. I see some ppl look at it a little longer than necessary sometimes (ie. when I'm wearing sandals and shorts)....but I know they are prob just wondering what happened to cause them. No biggie.
  19. That's KEWL....I've never heard that one before and I LIKE it!!
  20. I was never told not to take anything in capsule form; first I've heard of that. I've had no problem, so I will continue with this practice!

*stomping my feet & waving feathers in air*....*thumping on Tom-Tom*.... Heeeeeeeeerrrrrre Cloe Cloe Cloe!!!!!
  22. Not at all Neenagh....it is about 4-6 inches below the bra line (10-12 inches above my belly button).
  23. YEAH!!! This still has me all riled up. I forgot to mention one thing in my previous post.... At five yrs of age....it is NORMAL if a lil' kid as a belly. OMIGAWD....if a kid at that age didn't have a baby fat belly, I would wonder if they were undernourished!! %$^%$^&%#%$$@#!$# this damn thin-obsessed society makes me so angry when it gets lil' kids involved. YEEESH...poor thing....let 'em enjoy life!
  24. That's really kewl Tommy; tks for sharing. I eagerly anticipate the day when the light bulb goes off in my head too. Well, it goes off in my head, but not in my body; I await patiently and meanwhile do my best! Congrats on the 98 lbs!!!! WOOOOOO HOOOOOO!
  25. Mine is exactly where you just specified (Dr. Joffe/Yau at TLBC). I think it is a much better location than off to the side. (less obtrusive, more easily accessible etc). The more "current" doc do it there now as opposed to the side and lower (from my understanding). So, be happy!!!
