I know this has been addressed, but I am frustrated
I also feel your pain. I am 2 months post op and have had only 1 fill. I manage to keep my self full by drinking lots of water and eating high protien foods. There are some special bariatric diet foods out there (not sold at normal stores though) that are very filling. www.bariatricchoice.com This might be helpful if you can find a local person who sells it. I go for my second fill in January and can't wait! Good luck and it's a bumpy road but it'll pass...

3 days post op... ouch!!
The first few days were ruff getting up and down. I think the worst part was the hospital bed! Once I was home things improved quickly. I was at Yankee Candle shopping on day 4:thumbup: the more you move around the better you'll feel good luck!

Any Regrets?!?
Hey Mama! I was banded on 9/26. Upon going to the hospital that morning i was calm not nervous even the nurse noted I was very relaxed. I thought I was going to have trouble with the foods but nope! The worst part was not being able to get up quickly! I'm down 30+lbs and have never felt better! I am so glad I went through with this and have NO regrets! Best of Luck and keep us posted!!

Restriction following surgery???
I was banded on 9/26 and had minimal restrictoin in the begining (mostly swelling) now I feel hungry! So my first fill was scheduled for 12/1 and I bumped it up till next week. I am trying to eat small amounts of food and plenty of protien. Now on normal food I do get fuller quicker but it's definatley more than 1/2 cup. Good Luck!!

how long do gas pains last?
My gas painslast 3-4 days. I was actually driving 4 days after my surgery and I had to pull over becuase I thought I was going to throw up! I actually leanned over the guard rail and let out a burp that lasted a good 3 minutes. It'll clear up soon. Keep walking. I never used the gas medicine. Good Luck!!

Eating Normal/Why???
I was banded on 9/26 and am also having the same issues. The only thing that I find that helps is eating lots of protien and drinking water wit crystal light. I haven't actually had a full feeling except when I ate a hard boiled egg to fast...boy did that hurt!! The first fill isn't until 12/1. Good Luck!

time off work
Hello, I was banded on 9/26 and the doc gave me two weeks off. You need to take time and let the incisions heal and adjust to the food process. Good Luck!

Wtf?
i was also banded in Sept (26). I was on liquids for 2 wks, puree for 2wks and then soft for 2 then normal food. I also have found with some things I'm hungry. What I have found successful is eating starkist 2.8 oz pre packaged tuna. That seems to fill me up. Protien seems to do the job. I have also had boston market becuse i was kind of stuck so I ate creamed spinach, sweet potatos and regular potatos (not all at once) I am also drinking 60+ ozs of water with crystal light. My first fill is not until after thanks giving so I feel your pain...hang in there.

Those packets you add to water
I drink the crystal light fruit punch and I've had 2 already today with no troubles. Maybe it's the flavor?

New to lap band
Hello there, I recently had surgery on 9/26. I am in the puree/soft food stage. Doing walking at the local track a few times a week. I thought I was going to hate the diet but actually I'm not minding it much. With some spices, mustard etc things haven't been that bad, except I ate a whole sugar free jello pudding. Is that bad..will anything happen to the pouch? I started this journey at 255 lbs and so far I'm down to 239 at my last visit.
