  1. I had exactly the same symptoms... I felt pain into my second & third week, lots of belly bloating, eventually it all passes. I have been banded 5 weeks now. I still have slight tenderness around the port, but I have a toddler that needs constant attention and was picking him up way before I should have. The more you rest the better you will feel. Let yourself heal - trust me. MJay
  2. Try Genisoy soy Protein shake..really good I have the strawberry banana, bought it at save on foods in their health food section. Good Luck!
  3. Hi Doddie I think my port has flipped, because I can really feel it, It has moved from where the surgeon (Dr. Corvala, Mexico) said it was. There are twinges of pain around the port area. My family doctor is sending me for an ultrasound.... What did your flipped port feel like?
  4. Hi I was banded Oct 7/08 by Dr Corvala. Everything was great at the hospital, you'll be home before you know it. I went alone as well, the flight home was brutal, I live in Canada. (Chilliwack, British Columbia) I am still a little sore as I have a 18 month old boy who crawls all over me and needs his mom so I have probably overdone it it a bit. You'll be in good hands in Hospital Angeles, everyone was wonderful there!
  5. Hi, I've been banded for a week and still have sharp pains when picking stuff up off the floor, from one of my incisions. Not having too much trouble with liquids. My incisions were taped and they already have fallen off - is that normal. I was banded in Mexico by Dr. Corvala.
