  1. Hello - FYI - I also have the Realize band, and my doctor told me that it can hold 12cc's. So ...maybe there are different sizes. I currently have 5cc's in my band and just about 4 months. Don't have total restriction, but I think I am getting there.
  2. I have the realize band - My doctor told me that it holds between 10-12 cc's. Keep in mind this is one the I have as there may be different ones as well. Follow-up with your doc and ask a lot of questions.
  3. Hi all - I am enjoying reading through all of the recipes. I was just banded and still on the liquid stage, but I was just wondering, how do you keep track of your Protein intake. We need 60 grams a day. Do you actually keep a journal? Weigh your foods? Obviously I am thinking ahead now cause it easy now tracking protein because I am drinking the shakes, but once I start with real foods I am nervous about this. Thanks!
  4. I was banded on 11/24 and also have the intense shoulder pain. It is annoying and it hurts! I notice that it starts as soon as I even start to sip water and have the protein drink. Massaging helps it a little. My doctor told me that it is from the hiatel hernia repair I had also during my banding. I am now nervous that this is going to last a month or longer reading all the posts...ahhh!!

Having a hard time gettting the Protein down.
