Pat: hope you had a great day:) You can ask for any time frame for surgery. I had a vegas trip so moved mine out a month... lol so worth it:D;) AND for jess and candra and pat: It depends on your stomach, surgeon, and situation how much fluid you get at surgery.. I know some of us got almost 4ccs maybe even 5 i cant remember.. But some only got 2. So it all depends.

Candra: You are in band hell its normal.. 1 and 1/2 cups tuna.. hmm ur gonna not like my intake today:) You might have no fluid did you email ur surgeon??? Im sorry that its hit so soon. Start walkin hot stuff:D Jess: Email your surgeon they can tell u what ya go. Not sure if robin even knows.. I never tried asking her. HEY GIRLS, who have fills in October.. when is it? I wanna come for the robin part but not a fill. I dont need it i dont think. Im gonna ask him also. Not sure if he can tell me which one my friends are going to though... Pam: arent the carbs EVIL! I was actually a good girl today well minus red robin, but still under 800 cals:D B: 1 egg and 1/2 a piece of cheese L: 1/2 cup tuna (yes only tuna) about D: Fish and 5 fries and ranch.. (red robin) E: 4 miles I weigh less tonight then i did this am which is sweet.. now to keep me outa the freezer.. lol:D Hugs everyone!

Ok your fears are all normal. BUT look at it a different way.. This is the beginning to your life! This is the tool you are going to use to get to goal. Now how you get there, get a support team in place BEFORE surgery. Mine is on here in the kaiser richmond area of the board yeah most of us on there are post op.. But we meet in person, and have helped each other thru the process and now with the weight loss. if i had been alone.. I would have given up MANY times.. So.. Congratulations on the new you!!! Your gonna love your band.. I hope:) LIke i love mine:D

hello.. So i have been banded for 6 months. I LOVE MY BAND! Does it stop my cravings NOPPPPE I had icecream today eek. NOT GOOD. Can i have as much, yeah do i choose to nope. I have about 1/2 a cup instead of 2 cups.. lol.. You become more aware.. you actually realize what you are eating. Depression eating, still attacks you.. chips can you eat them YUP.. easier then tuna!!! Tortillas.. nope not so much.. seafood is easy.. Cake um.. i havent tried.. Candy of course its easy. Here is the catch though you do get a bit of a sugar high easily.. cause it sits in the pouch for a few and goes into your blood.. i have had quite a bit of sugar highs, not fun. One thing i CAN say is if you struggled before, be ready to struggle after. But not as easily. Just try to keep no sliders in your house and you will be fine. Because if you eat too much it WILL NOT stay down. Also something does change, these boards kaiser richmond particular has gotten me soo far. Get a close knit of people and stick together.. This is better as a team then a single player believe me. Exercise is also a big key but i know you know that:D Congratulations on your journey, it is by far worth it. Like i said i love my band!

Today i decided i need to still leave.. im not gonna tell him though.. Cause he kisses my butt. Instead he has been a jerk since i got home from my walk. Just sat at his computer all night didnt really help with audrey nada. I cooked dinner and looks like ill be the one cleaning the mess too. OH and to top that off i didnt even get to EAT my dinner that i cooked! Very depressing. Auds only ate off my plate.. darn kid oh well. What it comes down to in my head is i dont have a problem (i should) with him fighting with me but he brought audrey into it, and for that, i could loose her in the future if he feels he can justify that. ALSO, our last fight about a month or so ago.. he grabbed my arm and left a mark, and i remember that cause boy it pisses me off. And i know exactly why i divorced him the first time.. for the same reasons. Our fighting escalated more and more and more. Can i say im not scared oh im scared outa my britches, im scared im going to miss him, cause i do love him. But i just hope i can remain strong.. and not be talked back down...... ALSO im scared of not being able to pay for KAISER! oh man.........

And i am also imagining the dr on top of you with a shop vac lol. Pam: Sleep is a wonderful thing, i understand teh whole tylenol pm i take one every single night. It is in my daily pills lol tylenol pm, Zoloft, and vitamin lol. Take them all at once. Nicole Canoli : A couple of the girls on here also went to the information meeting.. all of them also had to go to the orientation (GIRLS SPEAK UP) at the orientation they were also told that it was that weight they start at. They are just using the information meeting as the first step.. to scare off people, less meetings for the surgeons that way... Ok so my food sucked today i pbd every meal! Right when im doing well! WTHeck!!! You all asked how my food was doing ok its gotten progressively worse since you asked lol. I think my stress has gotten the better of me. So i ended up with soup for dinner instead of the chicken cordon bleu:( Depreeeessssing! I did have icecream but because lunch said no way. OH and i walked 4 miles!!! I wont jog yet im still to sore.. Hope everyone is doing well

Hey beautiful girls. Tina i looked up domestic violence.. It sounds too familiar. I told mike to look it up. He said yeah thats why we are getting help. I told him i really dont know what to do im sooo confused right now. I told him i have to look out for audrey.... Tina i can call you after 7:) Night time min start then.. hey ladies. Well candra i said just that. He has agreed to anger management. And is already going to a psychologist in a week. We are gonna call and get marriage counseling also. It came down to me leaving tonight and I dont know if im ready. I actually got sad over it. I was so motivated and everything then i just saw the pain in his eyes and i remembered last time i left and how fast i regreted it. I dont want to do that again. So im thinking one more time with us both getting help.....? Gosh youd think i havent been taking any zoloft lately... im so indecisive. So my food choices got even worse this evening. Im gonna get back on track tomorrow i filled a garbage bag with all the junk food including chocolate i havent touched lol. so mike can get it out of here. Oh tina, oh tina where art thou... tinnnna.. i was about to call u but its nine pm.. but its free for me to call u now lol:)

Oh man mike just brought me home a dozen roses what do i do now.. that is so nice of him... i never get roses..

I think carbs are addicting. Ok i know they are addicting. They got me today. I think im gonna go for my walk tonight even though im sore. Gotta burn some of the millions of cals i ate... eh not good. Candra you are HILLARIOUS, some of the things you say. I know he said sorry after the cops left but oh well.. its getting harder and harder to leave emotionally. Today i sent off for an apt. I should hear by the end of the week. As for food, lets see im doing pretty good.. i have gotten an addiction to cheap icecream and cookie dough but the weight has remained the same, might help that i stepped up my exercise... I love the weather nice and gloomy so i turned the ac off:D WELL i was typing this earlier... lol since ive had a full bag of chips!!! and icecream. EH bad! Bad Bad! It started as one chip you know how that goes. But for the first time i saw how i got fat!!! Im sending all chips to work with mike tomorrow.. bad bad stuff.. Tina give me a call later on:)

Hi beautiful girls.. sorry i cant read all this my eyes are throbbing. I went today to find out about the apts.. wait is zip.. then i got nervous and started second guessing my choices. Well now im not. Tonight i got home from my jog, and we got in a fight mike ended up yanking my leg up so i fell well first (tina dont read) i dropped auds.. and she hit the floor.. and i landed on top of her. Then the cops showed up.. told me this isnt good for auds.. and everything like i didnt know.. it sucked So that is my nite hope you are all having more of a nice nite im going to go rest my eyes now.:tongue2: Hugs everyone sorry i cant read everything right now.

Oh and candra i have a ton of coupons left over, somehow i got two of the inserts in my newspaper so i only took a handful of copies:D Also check out smart source online, and mycoupons.com and coupon surfer. You can print them right there. I print audreys fruit snacks every shopping trip now:) Anyone need deodorant, toothpaste or soap? LOL i have a ton! in those three areas! Dog food too. today gizmo got free kitty treats and i got a free air wick system and warmer.

Yea pam i think it was the flour. It was crappy. Mike said when he eats the burritos he has a ton of soda to down it with. That whole burrito did end up making its way back up.. took me an hour though. Most horrifying experience ever. Im debating on dinner. I think ill have some tea to down the swelling and try soup. We will see i promised mike dinner. And im so good at breaking promises he says so im going to go. Did i tell everyone we lost our atm.. nightmare..

Good News! I think its done. I ended up running to the bathroom and had some violent episodes but my stomach emptied. Not my lower. I finally feel better:( But i have a feeling im super swollen...

La Chica im so glad you looked more into it! all the surgeons suggest rny because it helps stats:) Because it looses it for us:) But im very happy with my decision. Till today.. when i eat shit and shit doesnt stay down.

AHHHH i cant stop! Im in some serious trouble. Im trying to sit here and hold it all in, but i feel it climbing my throat. The hot cocoa came up. I am never ever ever gonna listen to mike on food again. He is thinking this is soo funny when hes the one that told me i should eat it and dared me to. Now look at me:(

Ok i have a problem, i cant stop going to the bathroom this burrito is severly stuck or something. Its slowly coming out and ive been in the ladies room about 8 times now. This is not good. I tried the hot cocoa.. and it made some gurgles.. no help. My husband thinks its funny. I dont. This hurts. Im frustrated.
