  1. I was banded on Oct. 27th and felt hunger on the 2nd day and have had no problem with nausea or vomiting. I saw my doctor yesterday and he said that I will be hungry until I get my first fill on Nov. 25th. He said to eat several small meals a day at 1/2 cup each. This way you won't stretch your pouch out before you get filled. I hope this helps. I could probably eat a lot more but I stop myself and just deal with the hunger. He said I probably had very little swelling and that's why.
  2. I was banded on the 27th and have not had that pain you are talking about. I did have pain in my back just below my left shoulder that felt like someone was sticking a knife in me. I finally realized it was gas pressure and after 5 hours of pain I had my first bowel movement since surgery. The pain went away after that. Hang in there...
  3. Hi Suziq. I am also having the lapband surgery on the 27th. I am so excited about it.
  4. Hello! I am scheduled to be banded on Monday, Oct. 27th. I only have 4 days to go. Any advice from anyone whose just been banded?
