  1. Guess no one else has experienced this. LOL! Saw my surgeon and found out I am allergic to the surgical soap that was used. Stronger than Benadryl meds and ointment on board now. What a RELIEF!
  2. I am one week out from surgery. I had a large hiatal hernia removed, ulcers in esophagus repaired and a revision to my stomach pouch. The past few days my stomach has been a little itchy, now today it is a lot worse. The skin surrounding the incisions. I scratched all night and this morning I am miserable, the itching is worse. I took some Benadryl. I live in a very dry climate so I thought maybe it was dry skin, but lotion did not relieve it at all. Has anyone experienced anything like this? It is too early to call my surgeon’s office now, but come 0900 I will be on the phone to see if I can come in and see the NP.
  3. i have low iron. about to start a round of infusions because my body cannot absorb the iron tablets.
