I just heard of another person who got banded a year ago and has only lost about 20# (ouch) and thats all I have been thinking about. I don"t know the details of here situation either so when I read your thread I was curious too. Thanks and hang in there, Tammy

  4. hi u all, i'm getting my lap band dec 4th and i seem to be eating everything i get a hold of and i am really not feeling that good, but its like i keep thinking these are things i will not be able to eat any more so i keep eating them anyway and i also love the carbs. Once i start the process i will be dedicaded to it though. It is so good to have this web site for support cause we all have things in common and it helps to talk and read about each others trials and tribulations. thanks so much, tammy
  5. Hi everyone! I'm getting my lap band dec. 4th and i think the hard part will be the holiday's also. It is all about food and family. I just don't want to fail. And from what i read the first 6 weeks can be pretty trying. But, also we have to look at this as a start to a new chapter in our lives this forum is going to be a big help!
