  1. Yes yes yes. I was not getting stuck. The food that I ate, no matter what it was, just would stay in the pouch until I would get sick. I've had the sliming, I've had food get stuck. This is different. Yes I had the hungry feeling but knew I wasn't. It took me forever to make the decision to get deflated. But now the morning after I am still so pleased I can't tell you how much better I feel. My husband even noticed the immediate change in my mood.
  2. Psalm - Please please go for another deflate. I was having almost the same problems as you. I wouldn't PB after eating but 1 hour or so after eating or drinking I would be miserable. I got to where I was only eating mushys and still having problems. I had .5 cc taken out in November - still miserable. I finally went in and got 3cc taken out today (3 hours ago) yes 3cc not .3cc OH MY GOD what a difference. No more pain, no nausea. I feel like a new person. Granted I might be back in a few weeks for a fill but I to went thru daily misery for almost a year. Talked myself out of needing to be deflated- felt like I was a failure. If you would please take my advise. My doc was so very understanding and was more than happy to alleviate my misery. I wish you well but being to tight isn't just about pbing and sliming.
  3. Wow and I thought I was the only one!!! I too felt like someone was writing my story. I have been so happy with the way I feel and all the compliments I've been receiving that I forgot why I got this procedure. What a great tool it is and I've quit using it. Time to get back on track. I love LapBandTalk.com.
  4. I fell back into some bad eating habits. Love the restriction that the band gives me but it doesn't help if you don't eat right. I am coming back around after a fill about 2 months ago and getting my head back in the game. I haven't gained for several months just need to get myself back on track dietwise and get moving. It's a tool for changing your unhealthy lifestyle. When I went back to my old habits the tool quit working. I had to get my mind back in it. I had become complacent about the diet because I physically felt so much better @ 240 than I had @ 300. So I had to realize I wasn't done changing myself yet and that losing more would be healthier yet!!
  5. I am new to Lap Band Talk. I was banded Aug 2006. I lost 80 and have gained back 20 and have stalled there. But would do it all over again. It is a great tool but you have to be ready to use it as a tool. The band will not work on it's own REMEMBER it is a tool. I was banded by Dr. David Strand in Sioux Falls, SD. :cool2:
