First I'd like to say you have valid feelings and emotions you are going through this is your body adjusting and this surgery is life changing. I had my rou-n-y surgery Dec.2022. Try to remember everyone heals. Recovery and incisions were part of my journey and will be a reminder of making the best decision of my life. No regrets! Reintroducing food at first is tricky. But you got this! I joined a aupport group that is in my area with people who have had, or on there way to having the surgery. I encourage you to find a support group ask your doctors office, your nutritionist with any info. As far as protein shakes, I found at Costco Fairlife protein shakes 18 pack as opposed to the premier protein shakes that tasted chalky. 26g? Of protein in a shake. Chocolate is delicious and thats been my go to since. Remember, your taste buds change as well than before. Another option, Costco or Sam's club, Walmart they have protein powder mix a big tub of it to make and mix with. Trust the process in healing. Allow yourself to transform and watch your journey unfold. There will be changes that will get some used to.but thats your body adjusting. Also, dont leave out or feel embarrassed but keep Mental health also a priority. The best decision i ever made was this weight loss surgery and i have no regrets! 🙏
