  1. Why do you think that you won't qualify? Do you have any of the comorbidities that they list? High blood pressure, sleep apnea, diabetes. I do have the high blood pressure and severe sleep apnea. I'm worried about this whole 6 month pre-diet surgery thing. I really hope I don't have to wait the 6 months. I did do Weight Watchers last year with no success. I'm nervous about tomorrow, but I really hope everything goes ok. I'd at least like to get the surgery to help with the sleep apnea too. That alone will make me feel better. I'm not sure what my BMI is, I'll find that out tomorrow. I know I am waaayyy overweight. I'm 5'4. So that part is a no brainer!
  2. I have my appointment with my PCP on Friday. I called my insurance Blue Care Network HMO and asked what criteria has to be met. They mailed me the policy and according to what I read, I should qualify. The closest hospital to me in Downtown Henry Ford. I'm just waiting to see what my doctor says and hopefully get this ball rolling. I'm getting anxious and excited at the same time. I really want to turn my life around and be happy once again! What steps have you taken? Tell me about yourself!!
  3. Hi JustJudy... I'm from Canton too... would love to chat!
