Frustrated...
About 60-70 lbs. I go to a Fill Center doctor for the fills. He doesn't seem concerned but I am so frustrated. This isn't (I don't think) normal. Anyone recommend a good doc in Austin that sees post op patients that they themselves did not operate on?

Frustrated...
I was banded in Mexico on October 7, 2008. I have had my band filled up to 9 ccs (10 cc band). I am VERY frustrated as I have not lost any weight, had very little restriction (only when I eat breads) and am wondering why I had this surgery and spent the money at all in the first place. The band is almost all the way filled and nothing happening! (and I mean, I haven't even lost 5 lbs) Anyone else have this experience? Any advice, sharing, stories would be helpful.

Restriction following surgery???
I was banded on October 6 and have had no restriction. My first fill is next week and I'm HOPING I start to lose weight. Everything now is pretty much the same as it was before and I'm hanging in there for the fill, otherwise, I would be feeling very discouraged.

Five days after banding and I'm hungry!
My doc is recommending a first fill four weeks out too, assuming smooth recovery so I'm hoping to have a little restriction in time for the holidays so I don't overdo it like past years. Thanks for all the support, this is a great forum!

Five days after banding and I'm hungry!
I was hoping I would feel restriction just after surgery because I wanted to start losing weight right away. I don't think my doctor prefilled my band -- the card he gave me with stats says 0cc. FOUR WEEKS?? HOW CAN I WAIT ANOTHER FOUR WEEKS???

Five days after banding and I'm hungry!
I was banded on Tuesday Oct 7 and I'm healing up pretty well. Along with feeling better, my hunger is back.... I'm not sure I'm feeling any "restriction" although maybe I just don't know what it feels like yet? Anyone out there have this experience? Does it get better after fills? What does restriction actually feel like? Any advice would be great, thanks!

Just Banded! Have a question about fills....
Hi all! I was banded Tuesday October 7th and feeling pretty good already!! How soon should I schedule my first fill? I was banded in Mexico so I will most likely use a Fill Center in my city for my first appointment. Three weeks, four weeks out? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Had surgery yesterday -- help!
My husband just talked to the doctor. He said symptoms should subside in 24 hours and that it's normal to be feeling like this. Hope it's true, thanks so much for the support. Maybe it's just coincidence? I'm having trouble even taking the meds because I'm so sick to my stomach. This sucks, praying this has been worth it!!!!!!!!!!!

Had surgery yesterday -- help!
I had surgery yesterday and I feel like I have the flu today -- not that sore in my stomach just terrible headcold, aches, congestion. Super nauseous after I drink anything. Help, will this go away? Doubting my decision because I'm feeling so bad.
