  1. My surgery was on Wednesday and I went back to work on Monday. But you do tire easily.
  2. Hello, and welcome! I am 6 days post-op and down 23 pounds. The only pain I had at all was severe left shoulder pain which everybody said was from gas. I admit I have used an entire box of Gas-x strips, but you know what? Woke up yesterday pain free and havent had any since! The ONLY regret I have so far is that I waited until I was 54 years old to do this.
  3. My surgery is set for Wednesday, Oct 15 and I'm excited "as all get out". (That's Southern for really, really excited!) Today is two weeks on the pre-surgical liquids and I am down 15 pounds. I can't believe it! Congratulations to everybody that had it done this week, and good wishes go out to all of you scheduled for next week. 4. I had all my tests Tuesday, and have a surgery date of Oct 15. I'm excited and thankful!
  5. Hey ya'll! I'm really new...I've never joined ANY discussion group, but after reading what you guys have shared, I knew I wanted to be part of THIS group. I see my surgeon, Dr Michael King tomorrow. I also get the psyche exam, labs, EKG and chest xrays...then I get my surgery date! I hope since I am self-pay that it will be within the next couple of weeks. I started clear liquids on Friday and my surgeon requires the full two weeks before surgery, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can get the band on Oct 10. Oh...nice to meet ya!
