I gave no statistics. There WAS, however, a PBS expose on the problem with CPS investigating certain children over and over, and in many cases removing them only to return them again to the abusive parent (or parent where a significant other was the abuser) and the child(ren) died. Beaten to death. You can Google PBS and find it yourself.

I may have my beliefs, but the people in office now for the most part don't carry those same beliefs. In other words, my "representatives" don't exactly represent me or my stance. I choose a particular belief, but I do NOT support all those who carry the "proper label." However, you do. And though we have been on a pretty good path lately, I have to say that discussing anything with you is getting to be particularly painful because you twist and turn the topic when you are confronted with facts that mess with your agenda. I'm not saying it's bad to stick to a belief, but it makes it difficult to have respect for someone's viewpoint when the topic changes constantly because the facts you are presented with don't conform to what you believe. And then you start getting snitty and personal again.

In the cases I've heard and read about where children died, it was after multiple investigations AND proof of abuse -- removing the child and then returning it to the home. That's way different. Not even apples and oranges; more like apples and automobiles.

No, really, I have talked to people all over the spectrum, and it appears by my cross-section that it is a far cry from just us wacky right-wingers. This problem affects all of us. I just think there has got to be a better answer. It's the best I can do in showing my feelings on the matter. And I reiterate, this is not an anti-Obama thing for me, as I hope it is not for anybody else.

I honestly don't know what the brownish Fluid is. I had my gall bladder removed and had gotten to the point where all I could toss up was bile, and it wasn't brown. I worry that it MIGHT be blood or something. And sorry, for some reason I thought you were an hour away. I would bet he could recommend somebody closer if you can't get out there. But definitely, I wouldn't wait until Thursday. Frankly, I probably wouldn't wait through the night since this has been going on since before Saturday. You could find yourself in dire straits pretty quickly with lack of fluids. For the time being, I would recommend something like Pedialyte or something like that which gets your electrolytes up.
