Mine started Sunday night/Monday morning. Got a fill on Thursday and all was fine (compared to all the acid reflux I had last month right after my fill). Went through liquids and mushies with no issue. However, while I was sleeping Sunday night, I woke up twice choking on acid. Nice. Yesterday it toned down in the morning but started up again after dinner. I knew not to eat at least two hours before I went to bed, but I could still feel it rolling around in there as late as 2 am (was going to go to bed earlier but stayed up hoping it would go away). Slept propped up on pillows. I have only had water so far this morning and can feel it a little bit too. It's not near as bad as it was last month, so I'm just hoping maybe I have some salt swelling or something that is making mine finnicky or something, but I don't know how long to let it go. The thing that really pissed me off last time was that he took out ALL my fill from May to June, whether by accident or on purpose. I don't want that again.

Since when did pinhead parents or society in general start believing it was better to do away with spanking? Many blame the Dr. Spock era. Am I the only one who has noticed that once spankings went the way of the dinosaur, our kids have gotten more and more out of control? I am a definite proponent of spanking. The great thing about it is that if done properly, you don't have to use it often. When my daughter was very young, like two or three, all I had to say in public was, "Do we need to go to the bathroom?" And I didn't mean potty. AND she got the message very quickly. I rarely had to spank because it made an impression. And I too could shoot a look across a football field that would freeze her in her tracks. And y'all are right -- there was a time that you got it TWICE: at school/at the neighbor's, and then again at home. Those days are definitely gone cuz heaven forbid we hurt their widdle feewings. :thumbdown:

I have a post on here about the attorney guy I know who asked me to come in a month ago. Irritating update. About two pages back. I called the agency about the other one from last week and supposedly the company is in the midst of employee evals and had not gotten back with the agency as of yesterday. My contact there said she would be checking in with them today to see what's happening. She said either way I'll hear something. Other than that, it's been slow. I'm hair-triggering about whether to ditch it and start planning full-time classes. I haven't decided when my cut-off is for that, but it's getting close. I don't want to miss out on classes I need/want, though right now I have some freedom since I have a number of them to take. If I can handle 15 credit hours a semester and I go through the summer (though I don't know how easy it'll be to take 15 in summer classes, but still...) I could be out in four semesters -- one year, four months. So... :thumbdown:

So this stupid woman's BRAT breaks two windows on your truck and says nothing, does nothing to offer to pay for it??? Are you serious?? I don't know how good your friendship is, but anytime her child comes near your truck (or anything else that is breakable) I would tell her very loudly to get away from it because she is getting to be very expensive for you since her mother does not take responsibility for her daughter's actions. :thumbdown: If mom gets pissed, I'd tell her tough crap -- it's apparent that her "parenting" is very much lacking since the child has NO manners, NO boundaries, and she is allowed to harm other people's property. Stupid woman... I HATE parents like that.

Geez! I go onto Craigslist on the job board I check daily and guess what? Remember the attorney who asked me to come in and interview with him, who never contacted me back even after I called once and e-mailed asking if he had made a decision? Well, there's a job posting right there for his office looking for a part-time legal assistant. I just called the office to inquire, asking that he contact me back about this. I'm not sure if he thought I only wanted full-time and once he realized he needed a part-time person just figured I wouldn't be interested or if I wasn't the fit he thought I might be. I just called and talked to the girl who's leaving to get her to find out for me. If I'm not a good fit, that's fine -- I'd rather know. But if he's paying decent even for part-time, I might be able to ramp up my classes and get more hours in there.

PJTP: After playing telephone tag since last Wednesday or Thursday, finally got hooked up with an eating disorder therapist and have an appointment on Wednesday at 7:30! YAY... I think... lol

Who attacked you? I'm the only one who even responded to you, and all I said was: "The people who may find peace with his death are the children that he sexually abused. And of course any future children he was going to abuse." I think if you're that sensitive that you consider what I said an attack, then maybe you should stay on the weight-loss section of the forum. :thumbdown:

Heartfire, reading about your dog reminds me... my mom had to put one of her dogs down today (yesterday, now). So sad... he had an enlarged heart and was stage 5 (the worst) and had been for about a year or more. They say they only last about a year, and as of today she said he couldn't even lay down because the pressure from just doing that was too much for his heart. She called the vet out to put him down. She was crying, as was I. What a sweet, BEAUTIFUL dog (he was a King Charles Cavalier). She rescued him at 7 years old. As for the car, the wife is all for me taking it, but the deal is I have to also take the insurance and car notes with it. Um, NO, I just want the car. I'm easy to appease. I don't have to have it all. :confused:

Yeah, well, I don't think he's gettin' his car back. :confused:

PJTP: Writing from Ocean City, Maryland. My friend has been itching for a girl's weekend and on Tuesday she went and got us a room at a hotel on the beach for two days. I picked her up in DC and we drove here from there. LONG ride (6 hours from my house, with traffic), but her hubby made it nice for me. He gave me his car to drive (she can't drive a stick):

Well, I know that it's hard to direct people on what to say. When you get a group this large and diverse, you're just gonna get what you get (like you said earlier). Sometimes it sucks, but sometimes you find things out that maybe you hadn't heard before. Maybe it might be easier to do searches on the site for what you're looking for rather than asking outright what you want to know. The answers might be less jaded that way. Just my two cents. :tongue_smilie: And yes, mean people suck. lol Hopefully you're getting more good out of your responses than bad.

It seems "normal people" have to pay for stuff like this. Why not bill the estate? Heck, it's growing by leaps and bounds now. A memorial service is one thing. Friends and family could have attended that. This was a spectacle put on in a sports arena or some such thing, and for that, I believe the estate or family should be billed. Glouc: I THINK the tickets were free, given out by lottery.

Omg, Tap, that's.... well, that's an insane morning. You go through more crap before 9:30 than most people do all day (taking on the army commercial from some years ago). I hope it gets better. And I'm with the others -- GO HOME.
