Block me if you want, but apparently you have issues with viewpoints that differ from yours. That's your problem, not mine. I have never ever EVER said anything about "white Republicans gracing this country." That is YOUR perception based on your own incorrect, fanatical viewpoint. I want GOOD people running this country, and quite frankly, the Repubs suck as bad as the Dems do. If you had tried as hard paying attention to WHAT I was saying rather than putting your own wharped spin on it, you would have seen that yourself. I also wish you could prove to me how I have put politics into "every g.d. thread." I was involved in the politics thread, yes, and I am in many more threads than this one or the PJTP thread and have not put politics into any of them. I've never disrespected you once, but apparently you cannot show the same maturity. I can disagree with your viewpoint and still appreciate you as an intelligent, well-spoken individual. I guess that's one of the larger differences between us. I don't need to surround myself with people who only think the way I do.

Fair enough, and I apologize for my part in it. Unfortunately some things just morph with no intention of making anything an argument. I guess I just wish some people could live and let live and realize we all have different views on things and allow dissenting opinions without making things personal. Understandable; however, this thread IS in the debate section, not the lounge. So long as it is in debates, it is likely to have things come up from time to time that ruffle the feathers -- on BOTH sides. I have not once gone onto another board that wasn't meant for debate and gotten into politics or some other hotbed topic. Maybe this thread should be moved if it is only for fluffy feel-good stuff 24/7.

Apparently I'm f*cking this thread up, so I'll do it this way: Confession: I hate when people allow themselves to be mistreatreated, whether by another individual or by groups of individuals, and simply gripe about it and do nothing to take control to better their situation. If you allow it, then you deserve it -- whether by an individual or a government entity.

Actually, the fussing is one-sided: from her to me. I don't dislike SnT at all -- something I doubt she can say about me. I can accept that she believes differently than I do, but I have seen time and again that she is not able to show the same favor. I guess liberal tolerance for people like SnT only works if you are tolerant of gays, abortion, and letting murderers go free, but does not extend towards those with whom you disagree politically. In those cases, let the hate fest begin. Oh well, I can sleep at night regardless. :tongue_smilie:

Very true. But now we have morons in DC leaving shoes at the White House, apparently trying to make a statement. The guy is leaving soon, and that's good. The spot was left open for another guy (or gal) to move in and further help in the ruin of this country (no matter who it was that got in). I am so glad my grandfather isn't alive to see how badly this country has turned and how corrupt politics has become. :tongue_smilie:

We all lost '08. Wasn't a worthy individual worth voting for at all. Politics is the single-most corrupt business out there -- worse than Wall Street, worse than the Big Three, worse than big oil. I was thinking the same thing. I was banded just a few days after her and I won't get my first fill until the 29th. I was also told that at least the first fill I won't feel anything except possibly hungrier since the air to liquid ratio will change, actually giving me a slightly lesser fill.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion. I watched how the left used the racism argument to say if you didn't vote for the Bama, it was because you were a racist. That was the newest form of intimidation and shame tactics via "white guilt" by using the race card. No, it's just that some of us aren't liberals and won't vote for one regardless of race, gender, creed, color, or sexual orientation.

Not everybody's a racist that is called one. It's simply one of the newest buzz words used to intimidate and cow people.

I would get the orange ice cream slush with extra orange. Tasted just like a dreamsicle. Also miss Jack In the Box's ultimate cheeseburger. Again, probably a good thing these days. :laugh:
