  1. Gym? What's a gym? :hurray:
  2. Tell him, "YES. There's kiwis, strawberries, mangos, and papayas."
  3. I'll be doing the pouch test starting Monday anyway since I will be getting my first fill that day.
  4. PJTP: So... hubby's childhood friend and his daughter showed up yesterday. Which is fine, but they were expected today. They were driving from Houston to here starting Christmas afternoon and, being 1400 miles, said they'd be here sometime today. So about 2pm yesterday we get a call -- they are in ROANOKE, VIRGINIA, about 3 1/2 hours away. And I'm still sick as a dog, looking forward to one more day of recuperation before having to entertain people, and of course, since I'd been sick, the house needed picking up. I have a cleaning crew that comes every other week, and of course this was the off week. I about fell over. Feeling sick, *GROSS-OUT WARNING* have lost 3 pounds in two days and I KNOW it's all the snot I've blown out my nose, and now I have to pick up in no time flat. Ugh... And DH, in all his "infinite wisdom" (read: NOT) canNOT figure out why I'm upset. Okay, I'm SICK, I was expecting them 24 hours from now, and they're virtually on our doorstep. I can be flexible, but geez. And as it was, we didn't know until the last minute whether they were coming here or going to Las Vegas. Whew, okay, I'm done.
  5. You WILL have fruit salad only for dessert tonight, Lulu *she said in her best hypnotic, Svengali-like voice*!
  6. The holidays make it so hard. I honestly think there are subliminal messages in Christmas songs and pumped through the malls and stores, like if you played it backwards you'd hear, "Christmas goodies are good for you, so eat all your heart desires until you burst or PB."
  7. Okay, I know the situation itself isn't funny, but that comment right there is!
  8. I look forward to the day I can jump up and down with her. When she gets home, I have something for her that she can use specifically along her journey if she so wishes.
  9. If I remember correctly, she has BCBS like I do, and I too was allowed an overnight stay. Which SHOULD have been nice, but the staff on that floor was rather sucky when I was there.
  10. OMG, GET OUT!!!! Really????? I am SOOOOOOOOO happy for her!!!!! Please give her a big (gentle) hug and kiss for me!! I'll talk to you soon. YAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!
  11. Thanks for letting me brag, y'all. I know, aren't those eyes just THE most gorgeous?? She certainly didn't get them from me as I have light brown eyes. DD has eyes that started out grayish-blue when she was younger and are now more of a soft green. Probably more of a true hazel since they change based on her mood and clothes. However, we have a lot of blue eyes in the family, and the dad also has blue, so yay! I love those blue eyes! I call them Mediterranean blue because, if you've ever seen the Mediterranean Sea, it is blue like that.
  12. OH NO, bbk!! I'm SO sorry to hear that! I hope you get better really soon. :tongue2: I thought you just had the cruds like me.
  13. That's what I hear from those who have met her. I am SO excited to meet her! Just wish I could have done it sooner. However, this is a good age (6 months). I used to live in Houston, Loretta, and am familiar with Baytown. I was just on the edge of the Houston/Spring divide off I-45.
  14. **BRAG WARNING** Another PJTP: My new grandbaby who I will meet next week!!
  15. 'Kay, what's a pouch test? PJTP: Do hot toddies count as water intake? :tongue2: I sure hope so cuz I've had 3-4 today.
  16. Maybe it was cold. And thinking they're tiny is not a bad thing. For some it's true.
  17. Did you just get it for him, or has he played a while? I actually bought it mistakenly thinking it was just a regular PC game like Diablo or Myst, some others I play(ed). I've been playing for just over a year now.
  18. Maybe he didn't realllly buy it for your kid. :tongue2: I play World of Warcraft, and I'm 10 years older than your bf. Love computer games.
  19. Live ones or the candy kind? :tongue2:
  20. Spoken like a true girl. :tongue2: Dolls sure have changed since I was a kid. Unitl my first experience with the male anatomy, I thought guys just had a lump down there like Ken.
  21. Good girl! Does it hurt much?
  22. What they all said!! Try to focus on the positive. Omg, 101 pounds??? Honey, I'd have pictures hanging all OVER the damn place after 101 pounds!! Start now... a before and during. Maybe it'll help keep you focused on what you have already done.
  23. Absolutely the best Christmas gift EVAH!!! I should be there next year.
  24. They must sit around and plot this stuff together. Which just goes to show, men should not be left alone to their own devices. It's never a good thing.
  25. Oh GOD!! Ladies, I FOUND ONE!! :cool2:
