  1. Thanks! It's tough, but I am glad I'm not doing it while playing mom too. I had taken some of my courses years ago when DD was young and in school, and I was on a schedule where I got home right before she did. However, now I work full time and go at night. My only saving grace THIS semester is that I found some one-night-a-week classes that will be about 3 hours rather than being two nights a week. Otherwise, just to take two classes would have me at school four nights a week and then taking all my weekend time to do homework. However, the trade-off is that my Monday class will go from 7:00 to 9:40, and my Wednesday class (which will be 12 weeks beginning 2/9) will go from 6:30 to 9:40. Ugh. BUT, it frees me up for this summer, where I will only need one more of my basic courses before I go to university, so I will try to take an expedited class so I can get out on the motorcycle this summer. I was hardly riding at all this past year. I doubt I put 2,000 miles on her, and some of that was riding to school.
  2. Way to go!! That first 25 pounds is the best.
  3. Since you have two weeks, maybe start now going to bed each night 15-30 minutes earlier and getting up that much earlier until school starts again. That way it's not so drastic.
  4. You won't (in a good way), but you'll be fine. I'm older than you and I'm doing it. Once I get my basics out of the way (summer session should be my last one), I go back to university from community college to get back to the major work. When I was there, more people were closer to my age. What is the JD curriculum?
  5. I catch it off and on depending on which day of the week they play it or what else I am addicted to TV-wise during that time slot. :tt1: I DID catch the season finale and saw Michelle win. What a gorgeous woman, no matter her weight. I thought she was gorgeous when she was fat, and she is certainly gorgeous now. I hope she can stick to it since not all can. I will try to catch this season to help motivate me. Btw, I bought some of The Biggest Loser's workout dvd's -- anybody else get them or use them? I haven't cracked them open yet so I don't know what to expect. Ten hours' worth of Nazi-style workouts? Hope not...
  6. Ugh, I realized I am starting up again on Monday. However, my second class doesn't start until February 9 and will be a 3-hour, one-night-a-week, 12-week course. Those Wednesdays will be looooong days!
  7. WOW! To me 9pm is early, but 7pm??? I haven't even had dinner by 7pm!
  8. I'm going to call the office today and see if Paul is available next Monday. I'm up 3 pounds from my lowest! I ate out a LOT the last 10 days or so with company here and all, but I didn't make bad choices. However, I can eat pretty well still...
  9. First thing I wondered was if the headache was due to detox.
  10. Hehehe, so true. My surgeon said they actually had people eating CAKE BATTER because they could get it up a straw. Many were impressed with what they could get to go up a straw. The surgeons not so much. :tongue2:
  11. Day-um, girl!! Way to go!!! Okay, so that means you get rid of that purple asterisk now, right? :tongue2:
  12. I agree, that really doesn't make any sense. So long as it's liquid, it's not likely to stretch the stoma, so why not any liquid?
  13. That's really cool, g4e!! I just wish it would do more than 50 pounds. At 50 pounds lost, I am only down about one chin. Wonder if you could take the result pic and use IT as your before and shave off another 50, and so on and so on until you get where you want to be.
  14. More like habitual fork-in-face disease.
  15. DONNANANANANANA!!!!!!!!!! Welcome back!!! The prodigal sistah returns. Glad to hear about your mom not being so bad. That's great news!
  16. Shore did. I bet it's the only way he "has" women.
  17. Oooh, maybe I can re-post the driving your car over broken glass and nails scenario again.
  18. Omg, it looks like the Idiot Fairy is out and about again...
  19. That's just one of many... and that doesn't include all the other scandals that didn't involve prostitutes but DO involve morality. Many of these people have NO shame whatsoever.
  20. Brandy: I'd have said, "Excuse me, SIR, what did you say?"
  21. Wonder what happened to her personal chef... and personal trainer... and her contract with herself from years back... and... and... Good lord, that woman is too much.
  22. Lots of awesome posts on this thread. I too feel if somebody is eating steak or other heavy solids just days out from surgery, they have much greater issues. However, people don't seem to want to hear that.
  23. And considering how immoral much of our government is, it's a helluva step to try to moralize US. They can't even moralize themselves.
  24. I guess this would qualify as an NSV: Boss asked me today if I had lost more weight. It's nice that somebody noticed.
