If Paul gave you 3.2cc, I'd be surprised. I don't doubt you, but it's just that my first fill I only got .6cc, and that was just over a week ago. I'm already going back in on Monday for another fill because I'm more hungry now than before the fill. You would eventually get to the point where that's all you could eat, so in the long run that is normal. However, DO remember to drink all your Water. It not only keeps you hydrated, it also rids your body of toxins AND FAT.

I dunno... how is their food handled there? It's been a very long time since I've watched, so I wasn't sure how they do the food. In other words, is there any and everything there they would want to eat? Is junk kept as a teaser or is junk not kept there?

Ew, not good. I'm going back in Monday... let's just hope I will get SOME restriction. The dog is getting nervous. One of us is a bad inspiration -- waited for your call but never got it. Then I got lazy and settled and didn't call to see if you were coming over to do Richard with me. Then TBL came on. Done night.

My guess is that since it was the dietician who did the yelling, it is because many refried beans are made with lard, not a very diet-conscious food.

I was banded days before Thanksgiving and was on liquids. I have not -- NOT -- cheated at all in the early phase of this diet nor since. It doesn't mean I won't cheat somewhere down the line, but in the first few days?? I know we are a support group, but what good does it do the original poster OR new bandsters to rally around somebody who did something so foolish so early in? WHY should we say it's okay? It's NOT okay. She asked for opinions, and she got them -- good and negative. So long as they ask, some of us will have the cajones to be honest. We do no service to anybody if we sugar-coat something this bad. If somebody cannot break this habit so soon after surgery, then apparently they slipped through the cracks and should not have been allowed to get the band. This is NOT a magic bullet -- put the band in an viola, you lose the weight. You STILL have to follow instructions and work the band. If you can't, then you shouldn't have gotten it.

I immediately didn't like the one blonde on the green team, the one that was "hyperventilating" and crying on the treadmill. I felt that her partner was very positive and an "I'm just gonna do it" type, and the other was holding her back. Frankly I'm glad that is the one that got sent home. She just seemed like a heck of a whiner. She'll be back, however, because I believe her teammate will remain. I felt for the 19-year-old boy who weighed the most. He seems like such a sweet kid, and to be SO fat at such a young age... wow. I can't relate because I didn't get fat until I was in my mid-20's.

Many do. They get good at cheating with slider foods. I knew a guy who had gastric bypass and was easily 450 pounds for the 2-3 years I knew him. He was down maybe 100 from his highest, but he used to BRAG about how he could eat ice cream in large amounts because it "went right through."

Should prostitution be legal?
Yep, but I couldn't just let that one slide. It was just wide open for me.

Oh, it CAN be done, but the program they do on TBL is not realistic. They work out for multiple hours a day, which no normal person can do.

I heard it mentioned earlier in the show, maybe when they were introducing everybody. He had an RNY, I believe. That is why for me, personally, I am against that type of WLS. Too many people re-gain with those types.

Exploitative in the sense that American Idol is exploitative in the beginning when they are making fun of those horrible caterwaulers? Yeah, it is somewhat exploitative, but they at least give these people something to strive towards and you can see the progress as the show goes on. I guess htey could start them out by having them weightlift creme puffs, but what fun would that be?

How bad have you messed up? Pretty bad. Seriously, like Jachut said, if you couldn't even commit to yourself this early in the process, how committed will you be overall?? If you went into rehab for a drug addictiion, would you come out and "only" smoke pot a few times right after? I just don't get it, I really don't. And as Jachut said, this isn't just slipping up a bit, this is BIG. Burgers and tortellini so soon after surgery, with "small meals" in between? Wow. You need to figure out RIGHT NOW what it is you want in life -- to remain fat with a slipped or removed band, or to get with the program and get real.
