    My first post and question. My surgery is scheduled for Oct 24. I was told at the pre-op class to eat low carbohydrates, high protein for two weeks prior to the surgery. On the posts I see that people talk about a liquid diet for two weeks before. Did I misunderstand? I thought the liquid diet was for after.
