  1. I went from a band to sleve may 9th. I had my band removed last November and quickly gained back 40 pounds. The procedure went fairly smooth , except it took my surgeon 4 hours do to all the scar tissue I had in my stomach plus he had to repair a hiatal hernia. I just started on soft foods on Thursdays and it has been a tougher then I thought it would be. I had some egg salad last night and it didn’t go well. I got really hot and sweaty and thought I was going to die. But I didn’t and it passed, I had some refried beans this morning and I did well with them. Good luck on your procedure it’s worth it.
  2. I am so ready for some more solid food!!
  3. Thanks for the advice
  4. I am craving ice cream. It was definitely my guilty pleasure prior to surgery. I’m just wondering how and when everyone is doing if they reincorporate ice cream back into their diet.
  5. I’m 8 day out post op and have lost 20 pounds. It’s incredible, I feel great and I am ready to get back to life. I am also getting tired of protein shakes. I have been having some soup(strained) to help break up some of monotonous of just the protein drinks.
  6. Congratulations, now the journey to better health begins!
  7. Good luck on your surgery, that’s the easy part of this journey.
  8. I had my surgery on the 9th , so far so good. I did have a hiatal hernia and some scar tissue that the doctor had to remove from my previous lab bad surgery. I have had a mild fever 100.4-100.7 any thoughts on why I would appreciate. Other than the fever and lack of sleep I am doing well. I do have a call into my surgeon to see what he says!!
