Hi, My name is Colleen. I live in Brighton. I am married with two kids. I was banded on October 28th of 2008. I have had one fill and feel like I am struggling. I cannot shake the sweet eating habit. I have lost about 25 pounds but feel I am going back to my old ways. I need a friend. Hope we can talk. :yikes:
i can totally relate. I am on the one week preop diet. My banding isscheduled for october 28th. I am about to start gnawing on the walls. Hang in there and I will too. This too shall pass.
Hey guys, I decided to self pay lap band. I am now worried because what if the band slips or something goes wrong? Would I have to self pay for all of that? Please help. :cursing::wink2:
Hi guys, I had my visit with my PCP last week. My BMI is 39 with high cholesterol and HTN. I have BCare network. I have to keep a log for 6 months of dieting and exercise. i am frustrated but these are the requirements to get approved. I live in Michigan and am 41 years old. I have a one and 6 year old. I am so tired all the time and my knees and back hurt so much. I feel bad when i try to play with my kids. i want the surgery now, but I know I have to be patient. Colleen:sad::cool2:
I went to my doctor and got a referral for lap band. BMI is 39 with HTN and high cholesterol. Do any of you guys have blue care network? I live in Michigan. I got their criteria and I have to jump through hoops. Six months of dieting and exercise? Anyone have any suggestions? thanks:sad::thumbup:
Hi guys, i am currently looking into lap band. I went to see my primary physician and she gave me a referral. COme to find out, I have to get a referral from blue care network after they review my case. I am 100 pounds overweight, my b/p and cholesterol are sky high. How long does it take from initial referral to actually get surgery? Thanks Colleen:whatchutalkingabout:w00t::thumbup:
