blue care network

I went to my doctor and got a referral for lap band. BMI is 39 with HTN and high cholesterol. Do any of you guys have blue care network? I live in Michigan. I got their criteria and I have to jump through hoops. Six months of dieting and exercise? Anyone have any suggestions? thanks:sad::thumbup:
