Hey Ashley, are you a gym member? I would assume most gyms have a trainer that you can get started with. The hospital that I had my surgery at has multiple support groups and some are done through zoom. Try contacting a local hospital that offers weight loss and see if you can join their groups.

Had my surgery on 1/25 and I’ve been off work for a full 3 weeks. Tomorrow is my first day back and I’m DREADING it. My energy levels have been low. Since I’ve been off, I’ve been waking up around 8am after a good 10 hours of sleep and I’ll do a few things around the house. Nothing strenuous. I don’t work a desk job and am constantly on my feet from 7am to 7pm. All this week I’ve been trying to wake up at 4am which is when I would normally get up for work, but I just end up napping.

I work the next 3 days in a row. It’s gonna be rough!!! Wish me luck!

The past few days I’ve noticed my multivitamin makes me nauseous. Yesterday I took my vitamin on an empty stomach and figured that was the reason. Today I took my vitamin after I ate and let my stomach settle. I followed it up with some apple sauce and needless to say everything came up. I take the Procare Health daily capsules and am thinking I should switch to a tablet.

I am craving sugar free popsicles but specifically Italian ice. Lately I’ve noticed that my water has to be ice cold for me to drink and I just like the coldness of popsicles. Any suggestions?

Had my surgery on 1/25!!! I’m still struggling with pain after I take sips. It feels more like pressure or “gas”. I’m trying different temps of fluids to see if that helps. Also added yogurt today. I was really hesitant that anything dairy related would do a number on my stomach AND the taste would be nasty. But so far so good!! ?

First off, congrats on taking a step towards a healthier you. I myself am 5 days post op and I know EXACTLY you feel. The first few days I kept thinking why did I do this to myself?! Pain and swelling didn’t help either, but those have begun to subside. I do constantly feel like every time I take a sip of fluids, there is a big pocket of gas in my stomach that stops me in my tracks. After reading everyone’s advice, I believe it is the temperature of the liquids that’s causing it. I was only drinking cold fluids but yesterday I made myself some chicken noodle soup and strained everything out. I was able to sip on that warm liquid without any “gas” pains. Try something warm to see if it helps ease your stomach.
