  5. Sorry for the late reply. I was able to call my surgeon the next morning and he advised me to drink 1/2 bottle of magnesium citrate and after 8 hours I used the toilet and since then I have felt great. I guess I was just super backed up or something?

  9. I had a gastric bypass on Monday. Tuesday was actual hell because I kept throwing up for nearly 24 hours. I was feeling better by Thursday and was able to come home on Friday but now (Saturday) I am vomiting and it tastes like fecal matter smells? My hospitals nurse line is closed so I can’t call until tomorrow. Has anyone else had this happen? If so, what were the results? Google is making it sound like I may need another surgery to fix a blockage.

  11. I know those Reese’s animal crackers VERY well. Maybe try to find a chocolate peanut butter protein shake? We’re still learning so don’t beat yourself up. If you can I recommend keeping your foods separate for a while so you don’t have to see their snacks. I keep my kids snacks in the closed pantry and put my drinks/protein shakes on a shelf.
  12. My surgeon had a last minute cancellation so I had the gastric bypass on November 27th (my birthday). Day 2 was ROUGH but I’m home now and feeling pretty good.
