My surgery was Jan 30,2024, I started at 350lbs...as of yesterday I weighed in at 254lbs...have gotten from 4x shirts and 3x pants down to 2x shirts and pants...I feel so much better, can walk so much further without having to stop for breathing...best decision I ever made..should've done it in my 30's though....glad to see everyone's progress...keep up the great work

Have you tried fish...like cod, tilapia baked in air fryer...I alternate between fish and chicken...they say 4 oz...but I've only been able to get about half before I get that pain and stop...then I'll eat it for supper or the next day for lunch....I'm just over 2 wks post op sleeve...good luck
  3. Tonight I had chicken noodle soup with protein..however I did blender it and strain it.. I had surgery Jan 30...I had no issues
  4. My date is also Jan 30th...so we are surgery twins...lol....I do believe everything will go great and will be very healthy and happy afterwards...God bless both of us and everyone else who is on this journey...

Update: due to unforseen reasons(surgeon had foot surgery) my surgery date was rescheduled...I'm now having surgery on Jan 30,2024...pre-op visit will be 16th...guessing that's when 2wk diet will start....I already started doing protein shake for breakfast..light lunch like cup of broth and spinach frittata...then regular dinner....can't wait to get this healthy life started...thanks

  7. Well just got letter from insurance company...surgery is approved...paperwork says Jan 2,2024...tried calling surgeon and weight loss center...no answer..maybe took extra day off for holiday.... Totally excited been long time coming...thank God finally.!!

Originally I was having gastric sleeve done in Las Vegas(blossom bariatric) in July 2020..during procedure they found a sac of tumors in my abdomen and decided not to complete sleeve...had tumors removed June of 2021 in El Paso TX..targeted therapy for cancer since then..was scheduled for sleeve in Sept 2023..another hiccup (atrial fibrillation)..well after cardiac catheterization and aversion..got cleared for surgery probably late Dec or early Jan...finally
