  1. I use 6 oz of Bananas & Cream Premier Protein and 2 Tablespoons of Flavorless Vital Protein Collagen Peptides which in total adds 24 grams of protein to my coffee.
  2. I am 6 days post-op and was able to tighten my Fitbit watch by 1 notch. It's the lil changes that make all the difference ?
  3. It took me 3 weeks, but every insurance is different, Weight Loss Hospital Programs, pre-op weight loss requirements are different.
  4. Two weeks should be no problem. My doctor gave me 8 weeks. Disability usually covers 6 weeks for non-government workers. FMLA covers 12 weeks, but that's just to keep your job...that's not the payment part. Hope this helps. Also, FMLA paperwork is different than the Disability paperwork.
  5. Congratulations!! You look fantastic. Keep up the great work
  6. How's it going? Are you still feeling good?
  7. My RNY w/Hiatal Hernia Repair is on the 26th also. Started my Liquid Diet on Monday. No fun!
  8. My RNY w/Hiatal Hernia Repair is on the 26th also. Started my Liquid Diet on Monday. No fun!
  9. Have you tried Anthem Blue Cross? Also, have you done all the classes (Bariatric Orientation, Nutrition, Psych Eval & joined a support group)? Most insurance companies want you to join a Hospital-based program before giving approval.
  10. What an amazing story. Thanks so much for sharing. You are truly a force to be reckoned with ❤️
  11. I am pre-op too. My surgery date is 9/26. I also bought the bottle carrier which holds my water bottle, phone, compact & lipstick. My husband says I am officially an old lady now (I'm 55)....lol. I am embracing the dorkiness ? and love the hands-free option. I just tried it out on my trip to Washington and it was GREAT!!
  12. A little bummed out. My date of surgery has been moved to 9/26, but I guess the extra time will help me get mentally prepared for all the changes ahead. ?
  13. I'm new to the forums. I'm hoping to have my gastric bypass the week of September 18th. I see my surgeon in 2 days so fingers crossed. I'm going through all the emotions right now. I have a severe hiatal hernia and was only expecting to get that fixed, but after talking with my gastroenterologist and surgeon they both said the Gastric Bypass was the way to go. I hope I'm ready for all this
