  1. I also have multiple abdominal surgeries and many adhesions. I told my surgeon I was leaning towards RnY, but he recommended the sleeve due to the adhesions (and also time-release meds I take). I had the same cpncern about possibly not being able to get the surgery due to scar tissue, but my surgeon said it is very a very rare situation (adhesions-wise) where they are unable to do the procedure at all. I hope that helps, and I am wishing you luck! ❤️
  2. Hi! Pre-op but former hairstylist. I think it depends what color service. If you're doing something more gentle like depositing color (going darker) you'd probably be fine. Anything like bleaching or going red (red has ammonia which is damaging) or chemical straighteners would be pretty harsh on your hair and may exacerbate any hair loss you may be experiencing.
