SammyJ23 reacted to Tomo in Drinking..not sippingRight away I was always able to drink as fast as I wanted and how much I wanted. Although I had little appetite, I didn't "feel" restriction until I got to solids.
It's when you can't take in water that there's a problem (example, stricture). You're good. Congrats on your surgery.

SammyJ23 reacted to Jeanniebug in Drinking..not sippingI was able to hit all my hydration goals, from the first night in the hospital. I've never had any restriction when it comes to liquids. Be happy, it means that you won't get dehydrated - a major cause of complications for us.
