@AmandaD. I had the sleeve done 8 days ago and had no issues. No sore throat or anything, just dry and chapped lips from the ventilator. The issue is having the liquids with 75% of your stomach removed. It’s just a trial and error. Getting used to taking tiny sips out of medicine cups, but it’s crazy how quick that improves. I’m already up to drinking about 50 Oz of water per day. I’m down 12 pounds since my surgery 8 days ago.

I’m feeling really good. Haven’t had to take any pain meds since leaving the hospital. I was in the hospital two days as well. Worst part for me is the liquids. I can get them all down, it’s just that I want some food lol. This weekend was tough with my family cooking a BBQ and I had to stick to my broth lol. Hope you’re doing good as well!

Had my surgery yesterday! Everything went great! First day a bit miserable with the gas pain but walk walk walk! It truly helps. Drank all my water, just eating jello. Today already is much better. Worst part is the uncomfortable hospital bed lol
